The app looks like a paid app so a lot of my friends and family refuse to join. However, you don’t have to pay to use the app, so it’s misleading. I wish Marco Pollo designed the welcome screen differently so that the paid features looked VIP and let people know they can still use the app for free if needed.
Marco is a more personal way to communicate with someone! I use it frequently and it’s nice that people can respond when it’s convenient.
My partner is currently on day 16 of the Pacific Crest Trail and this is how we’ve been communicating- SUPER simple to use, amazing way to see each other and connect in addition to phone calls and texts. Way better than FaceTime too
This app has been a gift for staying well connected with a small group of friends on busy schedules. The free version is limited but is enough for my basic needs.
App works ok but forces you to have the camera out - can’t listen with it in your pocket.
I have been using this app to do little touch bases with my coaching clientele as a free ‘perk’ of working with me and my clients and I love it! Faster and more personal than sending a text, with options to upgrade for more perks on the app if you want it!
I tried to use and like it, but had to delete it after a few days. The tipping point was when it only decided to give my some notifications, instead of all - rather than helping me to maintain communication in a relationship, it hindered it by leaving received messages for me to discover two days after they were sent, instead of being able to reply in a timely way. Their constant push to their paid version is premature for such buggy software. APP HAPPILY DELETED.
A friend introduced me to this app and I’m so glad she did. This is a great way to stay in touch with far away friends. We can asynchronously send videos when it’s a good time for each of us. Love it!
I do not have a lot of data and it’s wonderful to send and receive messages from my family who are far away. They are recorded and we can have conversations this way. And I can see the person and how they are doing. Thank you Marco Polo
I Love that it feels like you’re having a conversation face to face. It’s like sending a text message except with your real expression, tone and reactions and you can respond on your own time!
