Impossible to use with multiple devices
I got a new iPad and wanted to keep my same account that’s on my old iPad (which my family still uses). There is NO way to sign in to a new device with a current account (like every other professionally developed App), instead you either create a new account OR have to try changing your phone number to access your current account on a new device. I did so (switching to my wife’s number), and all that pulled over to the new iPad was my name!! No chats, no history, nothing!
On top of that, you cannot logout/switch accounts in the App, your only option is to delete and start over. 😑 Who thought this was a good idea?! Just use fb Messenger or WhatsApp, or any other video app that works across devices 😵🤦♂️
AI is Gratuitous transcription and unwelcome
I used to love this app and used it so many times with friends and family, even marketing it to my other friends, but they turned me way off by so many bugs but mainly because a friend showed me that they used AI to do transcriptions. There is NO point in this for a video app, even if we are being “inclusive”— that should be a separate feature altogether and a different app for those who enjoy videos and might be deaf. I HIGHLY doubt this was their intention. I wrote to customer support about my concerns and have yet to hear back 6 days later. Wish you would’ve been more progressive with your updates and not turn immediately to problematic AI.

Great app, if you like cute videos to go back too when your missing your bestie or a loved one. Feels like they are in your life next to you without the whole FaceTime in that moment. And taking your whole attention. No re-takes which I LOVE, makes the video more interesting, entertaining, seeing the real response the first time without being able to erase it. Brave Marco Paulo ❤️

when i first got the app, i loved it. me and my friends were constantly talking through videos. but now, it says the connection doesn’t work and i can’t watch videos my friends send me anymore. fix this and ill download the app again.
