## Marcus Theatres & Movie Tavern Reviews in United States

### ***-- "New update no ticket prices"
After this update I can no longer see seat prices when selecting movie and seats. Have to go all the way to checkout to see prices. Disappointed with the new change.

Hope Apple Pay will not be removed with the next update.
-- Vasyl Chuy, 2025-01-02

### **--- "Payment issues"
A couple of improvements I'd like to see are 1. a way to store a card,2 have Apple pay be available for food purchases as well as movie tickets, 3 fix the movie intermittent payment gateway issue. As a movie club subscriber there is no other way to get the club benefits honored through either the website or in person at the theater. I've had the issue twice now that I couldn't purchase my tickets through the app but was able to purchase food. Why are there 2 different payment systems being used in 1 app and little support for this?
-- mrswinzlo, 2024-12-25

### *---- "Poor support"
Link to apple wallet does not work and support is useless. Place an order in the app and I get no receipt. If you loose internet you can’t see the movie you paid for.
-- Simoleans134asd, 2024-12-24

### ****- "Meh"
Love it but doesn't have that much merchandise
-- D 4444rrrtttt99, 2024-12-22

### *---- "App is broken"
I can’t get into the app. it is stuck on the Lion king ad and won’t let me into my account.
-- I_Want_My_Tickets!, 2024-12-14

### *---- "Terrible app experience"
Downloaded the app and purchased the movie club. Fought with the app and website for two hours; still not able to access or use the benefits, no decent customer service chat options nor even a number to call for customer service, but they grabbed that money right away.
-- Spotted Sphinx, 2024-12-10

### **--- "Service fees and service fees"
Decent app to navigate, however….. their service fees are absolutely ridiculous. Which is insane since the original reason for the app was to avoid those. Andddd you can’t call into the theater and book over the phone to avoid the extra fees. My family of 6 had almost $15 in service fees on top of the cost just to go! Needs fixed, especially when reserved seats are a thing
-- Jfowlplay, 2024-12-05

### *---- "The app is broken"
Updated the app and now it's unusable. It keeps prompting me to create a profile, and once I do it circles me back to the same prompt. No way to advance beyond it. hope they fix it.
-- Sarak12345, 2024-12-01

### **--- "Save Payment"
Please add saved payment. It’s so annoying having to insert my card for food purchases.
-- East Inn , 2024-12-01

### *---- "Possibly the worse app experience ever"
This app and Marcus Theaters website and login/authentication process in how movie rewards, app and website all work independently is convolution and a complete mess. I used to live in an area with outstanding state of the art AMC theaters but now Marcus is my only viable option and in my experience this is the epitome of how not to do things. Marcus needs to fire their IT department and actually hire someone who has a clue.
