Markup Made Simple
Markup R-XP allows stitchers to load any chart in PDF or image form and will magically locate the grids, symbols and colours and then allow them to be marked up on screen. You can even take a photo of a chart and Markup R-XP will find the grid and symbols and allow you to mark it up.
If your chart consists of multiple pages, Markup R-XP will stitch the pages together to make one large chart. This means you can easily see your full markup progress and won’t be held up at page edges.
There are even tools to let you quickly find those final few unmarked symbols across the whole chart.
Extra Help with Tricky Charts
If you have a chart picture which is not completely clear or slightly rotated, you can still use Markup R-XP. The integrated editing tools can be used to assist Markup R-XP to create the perfect grid to fit over your chart and then detect the symbols and colours for you.
Automatic Symbol & Thread Colour Detection
Markup R-XP recognises the symbols in your chart and can tell you how many are stitched and left to stitch. If you chart has a key, Markup R-XP can also automatically determine the thread colour for each symbol. If there is no key, no problem, you can also simply assign up to four thread colours to a symbol.
Built In Shade Cards
Markup your chart using thread colours from DMC, Anchor and Madeira selected from the built-in shade cards.
Keys, Finished Samples and Notes
Multiple Keys can be captured separately and are stored alongside each project for easy referral as you stitch. Likewise, pictures can be captured from your uploaded chart for quick reference whilst markup is underway. There is even a notes section to keep a track of any important details for each project.
Comprehensive Progress & Statistics
Projects can be organised into different categories to help track the progress of your stitching. Markup R-XP can also estimate the number of stitches in your chart and keep you updated on progress.

How much does Markup R-XP cost?
Markup R-XP has several in-app purchases/subscriptions, the average in-app price is €14.99.
L'application est très pratique mais il y a quelques petits défauts à mon sens :
1/ la batterie se décharge à grande vitesse.
2/ il n'y a pas de lien entre l'iPhone et l'iPad, ce que je regrette vivement. On ne peut pas retrouver les projets en cours sur les deux appareils.
3/ dans certains cas, les symboles d'un patron ne sont pas reconnus ou sont complètement flous donc je dois me passer de l'application.
Etant donné qu'elle est payante (20 €/an), c'est tout de même dommage.
Markus - qui ne s.ouvre pas...

Après quelques mois d.utilisation, très satisfaite...mais depuis vendredi 24 avril le logiciel ne s.ouvre plus sur mon IPad (ancien...en version 12-5...) je fais sur mon iPhone mais ce n.est pas pratique...j.ai desinstaller l’appli arrêter mon iPad redémarrer et re installé l.appli mais rien n.y fait ...

J’ai été très longtemps avec un diagramme papier et depuis que j’ai l’application je ne peux plus m’en passer!
Un point à améliorer : pouvoir suivre son encours sur plusieurs supports (commencer sur iPad et continuer sur iPhone) car même en restaurant l’achat ça ne synchronise pas

J’adore cette application, j’en ai 3 pour broder mais celle-ci est ma préférée je ne pourrais plus m’en passer .

Pourquoi je ne l’ai pas utilisé plus tôt ?? Un gain de temps incroyable. On peut meme y mettre des diagrammes scanné soi même ! Fonctionne très bien et en français !! Merci ! Dommage que la tarification ait changé et pas à la baisse …
Affichage médiocre
L’application pourrait être bien mais l’affichage est une catastrophe. L’image est floue sur iPhone ou iPad, plein de pixel !!! A corriger.
Pretty cool
I’m a newbie and I’m only using a few features but love it so far. Can’t wait to explore what more this app can do. There was a learning curve but it didn’t take too long to become familiar with the basics.
Grid Alignment
Great customer service. I was having an issue being able to align the grid on my project and posted it on the FB page. James responded with a link to be able to send him my project so he could look at it. He responded with an email not only telling me how to fix it, but referenced the YouTube videos showing me how. And included a file as to what it should look like. And it was done in a very timely manner being that we are in 2 different time zones! Thank you James! Love this app!
I 🖤 Markup R-XP
Markup R-XP has seriously been a game-changer for my cross stitch projects. It’s packed with features that make managing charts and tracking process so much easier, plus tons of resources for learning the interface.
The dev team is also phenomenal. When I ran into an issue loading my chart, James went above and beyond to help me fix it, even providing detailed instructions and a ready-to-use project file. It saved me tons of work, and I couldn’t be more grateful.

Unusable
I just migrated over from Android and was looking for a good chart app. The first two charts I uploaded from pdf, the grids were way off or completely unrecognized by the app. The third seemed to get the grid, but every time I try to mark a color it just…doesn’t. This is way too simple of a function to be this hard, I genuinely don’t understand how this has such good reviews. I guess I’ll keep around my old Android phone so I can keep using pattern keeper.
