unprofessional, lack transparency, and impose unreasonable charges
Mars is by far the worst payment provider I’ve ever used in Turkey. I used my account with them for the first time today, and the experience was a disaster. After making a top-up, they blocked my account for hours without providing any explanation. The call center representatives are poorly trained and lack basic knowledge of payment procedures. When I contacted them, they transferred my call to United Payments, offering no resolution themselves. On top of the 3.8% top-up fee, they charged me an additional 4% in transaction fees, even though my payment was made in Turkish Lira. To make matters worse, 4% of the amount doesn’t even appear in the transaction list. When I asked for clarification, their explanation was that they convert all international transfers to USD—even if the original transaction is in Turkish Lira. In conclusion, I strongly advise against using their services. They are unprofessional, lack transparency, and impose unreasonable charges.
