They release so many new cards all the time that are so difficult to get without spending money. You’ll always be missing cards if you don’t spend enough. If you take a break and come back later you’ll be so far behind in decks that you won’t even bother cause it’s not fun. They release season pass cards strong and durable at release and once season is over, they nerf them. So all those who spent money on the season card get “scammed”. Card acquisition is way too difficult and you can wait months just for one card. Be aware of these things if you wanna pay. SD dropping the ball

However, their assets are heavily overpriced and they keep increasing their prices.

But with youtubers dishing out meta build left and right, you never see any original decks out there. Even if you want to copy the deck, you need to have played the game for hundreds of hours or pay your way via the store on the off chance that you might get it.

They promote this game as a no P2W game, but you absolutely can.

The gameplay loop of Marvel Snap is SUPER FUN, but unfortunately this game follows modern standard practices of using statistics to trick more cash out of customers. There is no way to acquire specific cards, and you absolutely cannot do anything other than grind for months or pay for loot boxes where you most likely wont get what you were looking for. At this stage, I would avoid the game until development becomes more player centric in its design. 

Finally, you cant mute your opponent so be prepared for every third opponent using emotes to harrass you or make fun of you when they win. Why cant I just mute people, what benefit is there to this design? 

Please focus more on what makes this a good experience for players. Until then, dont bother. Its very close to having the exact same problems as Hearthstone.

This game has that sweet upstart period which is carefully constructed to give you a great experience with lots of wins in the start. Then after a while you move into the “real” game where you will get farmed over and over by p2w players with Uber cards that always seem to have the perfect counter to all of your cards. On top of that there is the bs RNG mechanics for each of the 3 islands that will constantly either negate the whole plan with your deck or at the last moment snap victory from you because one or more of the islands change status effect into something that screws over your played cards.
