They got greedy!!
With the new paywall teams, what was once Free2Play for many players, they changed the rules and ruined the game.
Paywall for Krakens game
As some things have improved, Scopely (and by proxy its owner Savvy games) have turned towards the direction of paying for a new character (Captain Britain) for progression. There isn’t any means for free-to-play players to acquire him. The game is becoming an exclusive game for the rich. Not even bothering with a subscription model. Do not play this game for fun. Play this game if you have the money to keep up.
RIP Free to Play
I LOVE this game but with new character releases becoming pay to win and not unlockable for free to play players, i will be stepping away until the developers start respecting free to play players
Don’t start playing unless you want to sink lots of money
Scopely, please listen to your players! This game is great, I love the stories and game play. But it’s so expensive to play, please please please give us ways to trade resources like red stars to diamonds, etc. We are fed up with new characters costing huge amounts of money. New players, if you are looking to start, you will have to spend lots of money to be competitive in any way. The game is fun but not worth it. Keep that in mind.
Add more characters
you should add sentry and blue marvel, Hyperion, all the caped strong characters
Cash grab is getting worse
Pay wall for upcoming teams is making me reconsider playing at all.
Money Grab
Been playing for about 3 years. Things have progressively gotten worse. Last straw is this Cap Britain star-gate. Scopely doesn’t listen to the players, they don't deserve new players. Don’t waste your time.
Fix your game
It takes me 10 - 30 mins to log into your game which is crazy cause most of your game is just staring at a menu It has nothing to do with my phone I can load into raid shadow legends, Star Wars galaxy of heroes and summoners war in under a minute which I’m sure those game are equal to you’re quality of game expect raid shadow legend i know that’s a higher quality game than yours. So again stop being lazy and hire someone to fix your game please
Pay to Play
This is an update to a previous 2* rating I provided. For the past couple of months thing appeared to be trending in the right direction. However this week we have finally reversed course and started to transition into pay to play. The newest character is announced is not only unobtainable free to play, it’s an estimated $200-300 just to unlock him. Keep in mind this isn’t a mythic or legendary level character, and that the only way to increase his power after unlock is through additional purchases. In the same blog they announced him and his team will be required to unlock the next legendary. This means that you not only have to pay to just unlock him, but if you want to use him for the next legendary release you have to pay several more hundred to power him up to the needed level. While this game has a lot of good aspects to it, it is firmly crossed over into pay to play with a high barrier of entry.
