### **--- "Unfortunately abandoned with severe flaws."
This game is very fun in its core gameplay mechanics. The problem is that it becomes difficult to enjoy them once you progress far enough. Leveling heroes is a tedious task that doesn't feel rewarding. It's too slow and bottlenecked by the energy system. The only real bypass to this is spending large amounts of money.

Beyond that, the quick loot system somewhat punishes you for doing better on a level. Quick loot is a quality of life feature that allows you to instantly complete any level you have gotten 3 stars on previously, obtaining its loot. The issue is that it's not optional. Any level you have 3 starred is now only able to be completed instantly. This has made my gameplay loop very, VERY bare bones and not fun. I log on, quick loot 4-5 levels for a small amount of resources, then log off because I'm out of energy. That means I get on the game and have nothing to actually play. It's basically become the world's slowest idle game. I have two levels I can currently play, only one of which I can actually beat. That wouldn't be a big deal, but it doesn't give me resources that would help me more than the levels I can quick loot. I even read another review of someone who has completed the game and can't access any of the main levels anymore because they're only able to be quick looted.

Lastly, the game is abandoned. The last update was 6 years ago so none of these flaws are likely to be worked on. It's a shame because most other match games can't hold a candle to Match Land's gameplay, but it's been abandoned in a state that nearly forces you to pay money to progress at an even slightly reasonable rate. I do wish the devs would at least update the game to address the quick loot issue. I want to go back and play previous levels just to experience the gameplay more. Even if that means that I'm insta killing every boss, it's better than logging on and pressing 5 buttons and being done.

The games great up until you get your 5th hero who at the time you get them will be severely under leveled and ultimately useless in every level since they’re way above his level but you can’t take him off your team so now you just have random weak tiles in place of what could be the other characters tiles ultimately making it nearly impossible to beat levels let alone get 3 stars. This was a huge oversight (or intentional bad design in order to kill their own game before you even beat the tutorial?). The one good thing I’ll say is as far as micro transactions and ads go this game rightfully lacks those almost entirely (very small microtransactions) which is the only reason I played to the end(?) of the tutorial up until it became virtually unbeatable by design (intentional or not that’s what happened) unless you want to pay loads of real money to boost the 5th character enough to be playable which is laughable

This is the best game ever. My favorite game of all time. I played so much over the year. It is my favorite game and the only game I spent money on. 

However, how can I restart the game? I tried so many ways including deleting and reinstalling, turn off back up from iPhone. I just cannot seem to be able to restart the game. Please help!

I truly wish the developers would work on this game again because it still has so much potential. I have been playing this game off and on since 2020 and I have loved every second of it. The pixelated art style is so cute and the game is so well put together. It's a very well balanced game because unlike other games, you don't have to wait an obnoxious amount of time for your energy replenish and as the game gets more difficult you don't stay stuck on one level for weeks. It can be tedious to evolve characters, and I wish there was another way to earn figurines for new characters but at the end of the day the gameplay makes up for its flaws.

I keep trying other match 3 RPGs since this doesn’t get updated any more but always come back. Besides the cool retro art and characters, the actual speed and physics of moving the tiles is perfect. No other match 3 is as satisfying. 

I’m finally reviewing in the hopes that they’ll reconsider and pick it back up.

I remember a Cartoon Network version of this game and i was OBSESSED with it i never got bored!! I completed everything and unlocked every player and level so i kinda stopped playing. Now that it’s back with new characters and new levels I AM SOOOO EXCITED TO 100% this game one more time ✨✨✨ the gameplay is just so unique and fun!!!

Sorry for grammar/spelling It’s a great game its very fun, cute, and addicting if you like matching games it isn’t impossible to beat levels without in app purchases the game is a bit of grind trial and error but its not a greedy app i love the dungeon levels they help by giving dungeon coins to buy more energy spices team coins and other stuff its not a money hungry app in my opinion my ONLY down side is that we cant either sell or trade character coins if wanted in order to focus on upgrading other team members but other than that I love this game!!!!!!!  Also like to add I would love to see devs work on this game and add/update it
