**Estimated number of people who have already met someone on Match (Meetic) in France, Italy and Spain. Calculated using Dynata survey results, carried out in December 2023 on 6,011 people over the age of 18 living in France, Italy and Spain, compared to the total population of this age group in these countries (Source: Eurostat 2023). The study found that 15% (in France), 12% (in Italy) and 10% (in Spain) of those surveyed said they had already met someone on Meetic. Question asked: Using any of the sites or apps, have you ever experienced the following, even if it was only once?

Har fått grei respons og endel matcher fra damer, men der stopper evt godt inntrykk. Det som skjer etter match er etablert er fint lite. Er det ikke vilje/evne til å høre en samtale? Hva er vitsen å matche når man ikke engang kan respondere på DEN FØRSTE meldingen? Er det slik at Match damene samler på «likes» og ønsker overhode intet utover det? Dette gidder jeg ikke stort mer - 3mnd abbo ser ut som et feilgrep.

I used this service a few years ago. It was then a decent service, now it’s just sketchy. My account was closed claiming i was a minor. I’d like to point out that i’m often mistaken for being in my late 30’s or early 40’s. I’m 25. I even verified my profile. How is it humanly possible to make such an error? I can’t think of any possible reason to think i’m a minor. I contacted support which gave me a sketchy reply even after all the necessary proof had been re-validated. As such if they do not fix this ASAP, i will contact the proper authorities and report this as theft, fraud and scams.

Update: issue has been resolved in a great manner despite the first reply being rather sketchy. For these reasons i will update rating to 3/5 stars. Sketchy first replies makes things difficult at times. Especially when it asks for further details over and over again when they’ve already been provided. Using a file system mainly not supported in order to use support is also a major concern. I’m hoping this changes into a better system, but if that were to happen i suspect it’d take some time before it would take effect. They did resolve the issue, but it shouldn’t have happened in the first place. If they fix that i would then justify 4 stars. The prices are a bit excessive for what the features allow for and generally exploiting single people for a cash grab is what prevents the final star. I totally understand the need to have some paywalls to maintain funding for maintaining the service, but the prices are outright ridiculous and extreme. 600 NOK a year is one thing, but 900-1000 NOK for just 6 months is way too overkill.

Ingen som er seriøs på denne datingapp. Ser ut som mannfolk er bare ute etter en ting.Ser du ikke ut som barbie så er det ingen likes å få.Synes det skulle vært sånn at for at en skal ha profil så må en bevise at man er den person som er på bildet og ikke la dem legge ut bilder av natur eller dyrene sine.Har en ikke bilde av seg selv så tror jeg det er en svindler.Så det så.Vil ikke anbefale den her appen ingen som er seriøs inne på den her appen.

Den nye oppdateringen som kom i høst fjernet mer eller mindre alt som gjorde Match bedre enn konkurrentene. Nå fremstår de bare  som en dårligere versjon av Tinder...

Forslagene man får passer dårlig med hva man søker og etter at de fjerna forsiden der man så sist påloggede blant annet er det så og si null trafikk på profilen min (les: ingen ser den så derfor null besøk). 

Jeg bandt meg for å abonnere i 6 mnd og jeg kommer IKKE til å fornye når det går ut om noen dager. Burde ærlig talt fått pengene tilbake for jeg har definitivt ikke fått det jeg betalte for!

Do not pay for this service. I was suddenly banned from the service, and directed to their terms. I have conducted myself very open and respectful, and followed all the terms, but five weeks ago all of a sudden was banned. After five weeks and numerous attempts to get an explanation from Tinder and Match.com, they have on five occasions just respond as if on autopilot: “ Your account was removed in application of our Terms and conditions.” and close my support ticket, with no refund or any real attempt at checking. 🫤 So I want to warn anyone thinking of paying. Don’t, they can without reason or possibility of support or refund, cancel your account.

Den siste oppdateringen gjorde match appen til en Tinder klone. Det er helt på tryne at jeg er nødt til å si ja eller nei til en profil for å få se neste profil. Få tilbake den gamle. Jeg sier opp mitt abo, og fornyer ikke før det blir et bedre interface.
