## MatesPlace Reviews in United Kingdom

### ***-- "Won’t let me post an ad for my space even though it says I can with a free account"
Won’t let me post an ad for my space even though it says I can with a free account
-- MiaMokk, 2024-12-12

### **--- "lacking essential features"
great as a concept, horrible in execution - ten quid for premium and I still can’t filter by age?? also doesn’t allow you to set your distance filter lower than 5 miles which is useless when you’re advertising in / searching for a specific part of london. on ios it logs you out every time you close the app, meaning you don’t get notifications when the app is closed - missed a potential housemate this way and now have another week of losing sleep in store. perfect if you don’t care whether you’re sharing with a 60 year old man or an 18 year old student, borderline unusable otherwise
-- barsik stan, 2024-12-09

### ***** "Found a great flatmate"
After a nightmare on SpareRoom ended up listing my spare room on here - have found a lovely flatmate, and having mutual friends is such a massive bonus!
-- SCMAE, 2024-11-23

### *---- "Update the ads"
Lots of posted ads have expired and yet are not deleted. If a person who posted it has not been active for weeks, why is their ad still up?

Good initial concept. Executed childishly.
-- user82910181, 2024-08-01

### ***-- "Not bad, could be better"
Pretty good app idea, but some really obvious UI flaws, some major improvements needed. Plus really annoying when I try to sign in with phone number, and it asks to remove the 0 from the beginning. Come on, just remove it automatically.
-- putinHuilo69420, 2024-07-22

### *---- "Not useful"
I purchased a one week membership for £9.99 but I feel it’s been a complete waste of time and I’d like my money back. There’s zero options for people with pets and SpareRoom is much better in my opinion. Most averts when you try to contact them they haven’t been online for months
-- Spareroom for the win, 2024-06-28

### *---- "Only for Londoners"
Only works if you are living in London - it doesn’t expand to other areas yet may do in the future…
-- efcie, 2024-05-24

### *---- "Not worth it"
Really bad app no response from users and yet so expensive
-- Trishss5, 2024-05-22

### ***-- "Bugs"
I like the app to be honest.

But why it doesn’t let me report a problem, or sign out or delete my account?

Please do get back to me on this. I no longer need the app, I’ve found place, not through this app. But thanks!!
-- D18822024, 2024-03-04

### *---- "Disappointing !"
I paid for a subscription and it does not work correctly.
The search saving doesn’t work, the filter and the loading of the places is really bad, it is very disappointing !
