## Mattis Description
Mattis is a tactical card game with fast rounds, online multiplayer and smart offline AI. Collect cards, then shed them, and be the first to empty your hand. Build your profile with XP progression, daily streaks and a tougher Expert AI challenge.

HOW TO PLAY
Mattis is played in two distinct phases that test foresight and adaptability.

PHASE 1 - COLLECTION
• Each round, play one card from your hand.
• The highest card wins and collects all cards on the table.
• Collect wisely - those cards become your lifeline in the next phase.

PHASE 2 - SHEDDING
• Empty your hand before everyone else.
• Follow suit and beat the previous card to shed yours.
• The last player holding cards becomes the Mattis and loses.

MASTERY & PROGRESSION
• Earn XP after games and level up your Mattis profile.
• Keep a daily streak with fair rolling streak reminders.
• Share your profile progress with friends.
• Challenge Expert AI when you want a stronger solo opponent.

UNIQUE MECHANICS
• WAR: Tie on a play? Enter a sudden-death battle where only the strongest takes the pile.
• CHANCE: Out of good cards? Draw blind from the deck for a high-risk, high-reward move.
• BLOOD MATTIS: Collect nothing in Phase 1? Instant elimination.

FEATURES
• ONLINE & OFFLINE: Play anywhere, with or without internet.
• SMART AI: Choose the difficulty that fits your round, including Expert.
• QUICK SESSIONS: A complete game takes only 5-10 minutes.
• GAME CENTER: Track achievements and leaderboard progress.
• NO PAY-TO-WIN: Skill and strategy determine the winner.
