Eine der besseren MPD-Client Apps, aber …
MaximumMPD ist eine brauchbare MPD App. Mir gefällt, dass bei Playlists und Queue, im Gegensatz zu vielen anderen Apps, die Spielzeit angezeigt wird. Außerdem finde ich gut, dass es regelmäßig Updates gibt. Insgesamt funktioniert die App gut.
Zwei Dinge gefallen mir nicht:
1. Beim Browsen der Alben werden manche Alben doppelt oder sogar drei- oder mehrfach angezeigt. Das ist bei allen anderen MPD Clients, die ich verwende, nicht der Fall.
2. In den Settings kann „Use Gridview by default“ eingestellt werden. Wenn man das ausschaltet, ändert sich nichts, die Inhalte werden weiterhin im Gridview Mode angezeigt.
Nice to have wäre eine Möglichkeit, den HTTP-Stream des Servers über die App auf dem Endgerät auszugeben (wie bei MPD-Pilot).
Great MPD client
This is a wonderful app. I can sit back and browse my album collection, seeing all the album art as I do, control the music queue, the volume, display album art from the current album, etc., etc. Thanks very much to the developer!
