I wish we could either pay or buy an online Charlie card, it's annoying to have a Charlie card going onto a bus that doesn't have a machine that creates them.
The most important aspect for me about this app is its reliability in terms of the information it provides. The real-time information feels (just my observation) more accurate than any other services I’ve used. I hope this create a momentum that the MBTA make consistent improvements in connecting the public transit data (and make them more available in the physical vehicle) to this app
As the MBTA creaks back to life, I love seeing a project like this: quick, easy visualization of what transit is available nearby and how long head times are for the next train or bus. If they somehow integrated with BlueBikes, too, it would be completely one-stop, but as it stands a great addition for Boston residents and visitors.
I’ve been using the app for the past week and it has been incredibly useful. I love being able to know when my train will arrive and track where it is. I’ve been wishing for an app like this forever.
Finally I am able to know where my bus is, I love this reliable real life tracker, seeing transit stops on a live map is also a cool feature for trip planning
Still has a lot of work to do to catch up to Transit and other apps, but if you just want your favorite stop’s next bus/train, or want to compare different transit options, it is pretty solid. Some stuff it is missing: directions, trips very far in future (next day). Now that Transit went to their Freemium model and nerfed several great features, this makes up for some of what is lost. For example, being able to move around the map and see time of arrival for multiple stops.
So easy to use. Great job!!!
why can’t we buy tickets online. I’m sick of bus drivers being mean to me because I’m a young working individual that likes to not carry cash. this is a step in the right direction but feels like a farce of an app. travel and take time to use the New Jersey and New York transit. I would never ever have any of the problems commuting there I do here. Boston keeps its people stupid and depressed. I wish you all well.
Please add trip planner into the app. Great app otherwise!
