Description

This app was developed to optically assess the volume of red blood cells, in order to more accurately identify Mean Corpuscular Volume (MCV), a data of great importance in the blood count.
1) Take a picture of the slide seen in the eyepiece of your microscope,
2) afterwards, adjust and align the image with the circle of the app standard
The standards refer directly to the volume in fentoliters, analyzing at 1,000x magnification
Consider that severely hypochromic red blood cells may have an even smaller volume than the one evaluated.
Also measure other cells and bodies in microns using the 50 micron scale.
Evaluate the real mcv (Mean Corpuscular Volume) of red blood cells and other blood cells. Measure other bodies with the micrometer scale on the microscope at 1,000x magnification.
