But…" I would really like it if you could choose to not follow the prompt for the daily writing. I love how if you are stuck, you can choose from several different types of prompts, but sometimes I know what I want to write, and I don’t like that your journal entry shows a prompt underneath it that you may have not followed. Overall though, I love this. Very simple, clean, and really effective! I like that you can change the daily habit to a certain word count, and that I have never experienced ads or an option to “go pro.” It really just seems like an app made by people who like writing :) although the inclusion of an AI prompt is a bit disappointing. Thanks for making this! -- Catdidthis, 2025-05-13 [View all Meanwhile reviews and detailed analytics on AppTail](https://app.apptail.io/signup?utm_campaign=ai-crawl&utm_content=reviews) ## Apps Similar to Meanwhile - [Writing Prompts: Scripta](https://apptail.io/app/writing-prompts-scripta-rFeb/united-states) - [Enter: Take Notes, Shape Ideas](https://apptail.io/app/enter-take-notes-shape-ideas-YNdd/united-states) - [Writer Gadget](https://apptail.io/app/writer-gadget-xevd/united-states) - [witties | Notebook for idea](https://apptail.io/app/witties-notebook-for-idea-dQBn/united-states) - [Writing Companion](https://apptail.io/app/writing-companion-nrQq/united-states) - [Afternoon: Habit Tracker](https://apptail.io/app/afternoon-habit-tracker-aCxv/united-states) - [BriefMe: AI Podcast Player](https://apptail.io/app/briefme-ai-podcast-player-wTzv/united-states) - [Prompts: Keep writing](https://apptail.io/app/prompts-keep-writing-Rpky/united-states) - [Novalist - Novel Writing](https://apptail.io/app/novalist-novel-writing-ZfpB/united-states) - [Quill - Daily Writing Prompts](https://apptail.io/app/quill-daily-writing-prompts-ICcC/united-states) ## Meanwhile Available In - [United States](https://apptail.io/app/meanwhile-daily-writing-uKlv/united-states) - [Bulgaria](https://apptail.io/app/meanwhile-daily-writing-uKlv/bulgaria) - [Canada](https://apptail.io/app/meanwhile-daily-writing-uKlv/canada) - [Switzerland](https://apptail.io/app/meanwhile-daily-writing-uKlv/switzerland) - [Czechia](https://apptail.io/app/meanwhile-daily-writing-uKlv/czechia) - [Germany](https://apptail.io/app/meanwhile-daily-writing-uKlv/germany) - [France](https://apptail.io/app/meanwhile-daily-writing-uKlv/france) - [Croatia](https://apptail.io/app/meanwhile-daily-writing-uKlv/croatia) - [South Korea](https://apptail.io/app/meanwhile-daily-writing-uKlv/south-korea) - [Azerbaijan](https://apptail.io/app/meanwhile-daily-writing-uKlv/azerbaijan) - [Luxembourg](https://apptail.io/app/meanwhile-daily-writing-uKlv/luxembourg) - [Latvia](https://apptail.io/app/meanwhile-daily-writing-uKlv/latvia) - [Sri Lanka](https://apptail.io/app/meanwhile-daily-writing-uKlv/sri-lanka) - [Senegal](https://apptail.io/app/meanwhile-daily-writing-uKlv/senegal) - [Taiwan](https://apptail.io/app/meanwhile-daily-writing-uKlv/taiwan) - [Malta](https://apptail.io/app/meanwhile-daily-writing-uKlv/malta) - [Sweden](https://apptail.io/app/meanwhile-daily-writing-uKlv/sweden) - [Slovenia](https://apptail.io/app/meanwhile-daily-writing-uKlv/slovenia) - [North Macedonia](https://apptail.io/app/meanwhile-daily-writing-uKlv/north-macedonia) - [Iceland](https://apptail.io/app/meanwhile-daily-writing-uKlv/iceland) --- ## About AppTail [AppTail](https://apptail.io) is a mobile app intelligence platform providing app analytics, ASO (App Store Optimization) tools, keyword tracking, competitor analysis, revenue estimates, and review monitoring for iOS App Store apps.
