The app helps you to deal with the stresses of being ill, being in a medical setting, undergoing difficult procedures, hearing bad news and more. No prior experience is needed to enjoy the benefits of this app. The app contains a Learn to Meditate section for those new to meditation. In addition to the specific meditations designed for illness and caregiving, you will receive meditations that will be useful throughout your life. You can listen to the voice guidance with or without music or nature sounds in the background. You also have the option of listening to music and nature sounds alone. Designed by the creators of the popular Meditation Oasis® apps and podcast in collaboration with David Ezon, MD. I took a meditation class in college and really missed the peace I got from guided meditations, but this app has fulfilled that desperately needed relief. Perhaps what I love most about this app is the fact that it is a free resource and feels more genuine and productive than other expensive guided meditation services. It seems like the people who built this app just wanted to share a resource with people who needed it. My only critique about the app is that I wish they had a paid option to remove banner ads, because they can be a little distracting. Compared to other apps that shove ads in your face every second, advertising on this app is much more tolerable.
