I discovered this app by a pure coincidence as someone shared an article with me. I realize now that it is a golden mine of very talented, smart and soltimes just super interesting people who write, share ideas, insights and it is very inspiring.
Hi there, I really like the app and the kind of content that people put on it: short thoughtful articles. I would really like to see a feature that enables me to save quotes from articles in the app, just like saving articles.
Your app keeps crashing non-stop. The majority of articles are paid which is a bummer and it seems it isn’t worth to pay for it because of the crashes and freezes.
A lot of bad stories and lot of changes
Only a black screen. It simply doesn’t work. And for those complaining about having to pay for reading most of the articles. Why do you believe that everything has to be free on the internet? Running a website, creating an app and writing something interesting costs time and money.
Stop requiring people to login into your service to read articles written by others for free!
UI is super cool and easy to use UX for a writer is so so bad, 0 internal traffic so basically no reach for content written in the app😅
Unless you share your content like crazy on other platforms it's almost impossible to get any views. Yesterday with the right tags I had 0 reads, then after sharing my article on Reddit it started getting traction
Although I think an app as important as this one should be free, or a one-time buy, it never stops amazing me how good it is. In this time of fake news, internet access by social media is misused by absolute dimwits, robots, and governments alike, it's a breath of fresh air to read the stories published on the Medium platform. The only reason I withhold the fifth star is the business model: it's quite an expensive way to get the top stories only for a high weekly fee. I know there are other options, but I can't afford a yearly membership, and quite frankly there are weeks I forget to read even one story. Therefore I strongly urge the makers of this very important app to consider a one-time buy: if that was an option, no matter how high the pricing for it would be, I would be more inclined to pay than my on-and-off membership fee as it is now.
