Without question extending membership
I didn’t want to extend my membership, yet they charged $54,56 from my VISA. Have been trying to contact for a refund but I’m getting no response what so ever!!

Like democracy, the least bad option
I don’t like Meetup itself: it’s a notification-prone, anti-user, poorly designed tool. But it’s the least bad of those we have, so it tends to stick around. After they killed the RSS feeds, I now get swamped by notifications if I try to keep up with even a reasonably number of groups. And I’m amazed they never managed to sort events correctly, or that some show up on the wrong day. Also, how hard is it to sort things by relevance/recommendation? I’ve never been to a salsa class, folks, should it be #1 in that list? A buggy, engagement-driven, UX-poor product, but we don’t have anything better around (that I know of). Meh.

When looking for a potentially online event, one should be able to search without specifying any location.

Perfect mobile experience, need improvement on Pc
Nice suggestion and algorithm on mobile phone. The networking effect really suggested me to more useful groups. Nonetheless, this does not apply to my experience in the computer. No useful suggestions. The location keeps showing “Vietnam” while I have moved to Belgium a year ago.
