Beware! I would not recommend this app to any meetup organizer! Avoid the payed plan - you will have to pay for ever even though it does not offer anything extra than a free plan! If you decide to cancel - they will block your account and not communicate with you!
Buggy and not very user friendly
Although the app is buggy and not hard to search, it is far better than Facebook events. It is the best app for events in my opinion, the concept is perfect, no profile data, but some idea who is attending; they just need to make it more reliable!
App Crashes
App cannot be launched. It crashes immediately.

Good idea for some people but horrible mailing experience
I've been registered to meetup for around 6 years now and I dont use it at least 4 years and their spam emails are just something else. With other platforms, you can simply unsubscibe at the bottom of the email but here it has no effect. I have been trying all possible combinations of notification settings in my account and they still keep spamming me useless crap.
Always crashes; unable to use
Every time I start it, it always crashes. Disappointed! Useless junk.
Report a bug
Hi, I’m really enjoying your app, but I found a bug and this is only one way I found where I can report a bug. I’ve got an e-mail with link for feedback of an event. I clicked on it, filled stars and it offered me a list of things which I liked on the event. The list is bigger than my phone screen, but it’s not possible to scroll it. Phone: iPhone SE 2nd gen / iOS 14.6 Meetup v.8.6.3 (621631) Thanks for your good work :)
Not possible to unsubscribe
Many times I have tried to unsubscribe from their mailing list. But every week I have 2-3 new emails from Meetup.
NOT for organizers and the organized
I have email notifications off because I have the app with push notifications. I get notified about everything with my groups. However, when a new member fills out the questionnaire and is waiting for me to accept, I receive NO notifications. Once I accept them, I get their messages. Why hasn’t this been fixed? I brought this up well over a year ago. Lastly, fix your badges. It’s annoying when I’ve read all my notifications, yet the badge doesn’t go away on your app icon. Annoying.
