Scammy non-existant events wasting time

This app was ok 15 years ago but today it's full of scam and there is absolutely no one from the app's operators trying to crack down on false events. It's happened to me a lot in Paris and first thing here in Budapest too, that I go to an event to the indicated venue and the venue turns out to be either in another address that's not disclosed to meetup users or in a different date (organizers keep changing the time and date 5 minutes before the event would start to gather more attendees and more publicity). Today the bartender of the bar where a meetup with 50 attendees was shown to be, he told me I wasn't the first one this evening coming there looking for the event and not finding anything. Organizers have zero respect for the time of the attendees who regularly go to events to find nothing there. And even if you took the time to report a group for the completely scammy shemes and false information, meetup operators do absolutely nothing to ban those groups or hold the organizers accountable.

I just downloaded this app last month and since that, i have been at many meetups in the city. I never knew before how much events and meetups are in the city about specific topics. Great opportunity to meet new people amd learn from colleagues 😊👍🏻

Notification opening issue

Whenever I open the app by selecting its notification, it opens with an empty GUI. I have to kill the app and relaunch it, then it opens properly.
