Not useful subscriptions
Even after starting subscription, several functions did not work at all. When you consider subscription, it is better for you to check whether each function can work.
Aggressive monetization update
The latest version now harass you with free meetup+ trials that you have to keep dismissing each time if you are not interested. No “don’t show again” button. That and constant crashes. The user experience has become absolutely terrible.

怪しいイベントが多い。写真に生成AI画像を使っているものなどもある。 報告する際も送信時エラーでできない
返金してください
トライアルの無償期間に登録したら解約できずに勝手に有料会員料金を引かれたのにも関わらず、有料会員プランは使えず最悪です。 すぐに不具合起きるし使えない。
Soooooo slow
I can’t understand how an app with so many positive ratings can be so slow. The moment I open this app, it takes forever to load the page and events. Developers why? You could say update the app etc. but it has nothing to do with it. Compared to any other social app, the loading speed is so much slower. This part definitely needs lots of improvement.
促しがしつこすぎる
いつも愛用していたミートアップが改悪アプデされてしまいました。 イベントの参加者ボタンを押すたびにプレミアムメンバー？登録への促しが必ず毎回出てきます。 私は知り合いが多いのでどうしてもそこを確認する必要があり、イラつきながらも毎回押しています。そして参加者の顔もすぐに確認できず一人一人押してその度に出てくる広告を消すという作業をしなければいけないです。 どうしてこんなアプデしちゃったのでしょうか…？ミートアップのプレミアム登録者が少ないからですか？しつこく広告やればメンバー増えると思ったんですか？早く直して欲しいです。
Don’t subscribe for pro. It’s a trap
Use it but never subscribe for pro or organizer facility. Once you done, there’s no way going back. There instructions on canceling subscription is totally wrong. So we have to fill forms like an old government office and wait for days for them to reply. It is a trap. Don’t fell into it.
Scam
This app will not allow you to cancel your subscription if you didn’t sign up using AppleID. When you’re signed up it won’t show an active subscription in your subscription tab, so you’ll assume that it doesn’t exist. All the while they’ll be taking payments out of your account behind your back. You then have to send them a support request but they will deny that you have a subscription and yet again take money out of your account. It’s been going on for over 2 months now on my account and they still haven’t deleted my account even after I sent them evidence of payments being made while I explicitly told them I wanted to cancel my subscription. The people who run this app should be jailed.
