I do not want to subscribe to Meetup+. Please stop showing me the ad telling me to get the paid subscribtion every 30 seconds! This App is now a pain to use.

Love the concept but the app needs some work. Have to rely more on the website.
Why do you need full access permission to my calendar?
Instead of working and adding new interesting features, meetup decided to make us pay for the previously free features... what a scam!
It feels like every step I take in this app I get prompted with an add to upgrade. I used this app a lot many years ago…it was good then. Now, not so much.
J’adore cette pour participer à des événements divers et variés. Il y a un MAIS. Pour que l’ajout automatique des événements au calendrier fonctionne, Meetup impose d’activer l’accès total au calendrier. C’est à dire qu’ils peuvent potentiellement aspirer tous les détails de notre vie privée qui y figure. C’est très intrusif. Pour ce manque d’éthique, essentiel, seulement 2 étoiles.
Why does Meetup need READ access to my calendar to add events? “Add only” should work too.
The notifications cannot be disabled individually. It sends them unless you disable all in the iOS settings. This is borderline spam.
App ignores calendar add only settings and want to access everything. Imposiible to search for empty keywoard (all events at place) Imposible to separate profiles of interest: a la business, vs outdoors vs particular interest. All mixed together and hard to search.
