Leaders can also access additional membership information and reports. Directory. View contact information and photos of members in your ward and stake, including members you’re assigned to minister to and those assigned to you, and update your contact information. Messages. View messages with important updates or actions needed. Organizations. View ward and stake callings by organization. Reports. Ward and stake leaders can view and update membership reports for members of their ward and stake, including recording attendance and ministering interviews. Manage records. Bishops, branch presidents, and clerks can move records and record ordinances. Calendar. View event calendars for your ward and stake. Groups. Create custom groups of members in your ward and stake. Temples. View your assigned temple, temples nearest your current location, ordinance schedules, submit names to the prayer roll, and set up a temple recommend expiration reminder. Meetinghouses. Find meetinghouse locations and addresses, sacrament meeting times, and contact information for bishops. Missionary. Access contact information for the full-time missionaries assigned to and serving from your ward or stake, and refer a friend to the missionaries. Finance. Some people have found bugs but I think that they were probably just using the app wrong or the bug has been fixed. That is be able to quickly and easily help me find and nav to someone’s address. ANY other feature of this app is not time critical. However if you are on the road, about to leave, or an appointment you realize is somewhere else… this app is the absolutely terrible. First off you might just need to lookup and address but if you don’t have service good luck because you’ll need to login first. So you will be stranded. Second, half the time it wants to download a directory update before it will let me access someone who I know hasn’t moved. Third when you finally get to a person’s address it opens in google maps instead of the default map program like apple maps which is safer while driving since it works with your apple watch. At least in the past we used to have the annual printed ward directory. Now we are forced to use this and it is so much more painful then a printed directory. This app has generally been useful, but there are a number of ongoing problems and repeating issues which make it truly frustrating to the point that I and my associates would almost rather not bother with it at all in many situations. The most persistent and longstanding issue that I know of is that if certain information is incorrect, especially addresses, neither a single attempt to change it nor repeated requests for help to change it tend to result in a change at all. It feels like a serious oversight in the processes of the teams which develop the app and update these kinds of important, official information in the app that this problem has not changed over the course of several years. The next worst thing about the app is that there are features which can seem to be working well, and then a new update will break them, and a new update after that will not necessarily fix the problem. For example, the ability for leadership to see and interact with full ministering lists and reports in the app used to work wonderful during quarter 3 of 2024, but an update that came around the time that quarter 4 began caused those features to become either non-existent and/or to not function as they had previously. Now, to work with those features, leaders have to log into the church website and ignore the app altogether. Furthermore, the ministering information is frequently displaying incorrect information now when it was displaying things just fine before that update. This has caused problems for leaders and for other members alike, because ministering information is no longer reliable. Finally, the app is notoriously slow when syncing, and it struggles to load information in the first place, let alone sync at all, when being used on the church’s WiFi, which is when it is arguably the most imperative for it to work quickly and efficiently because of all the meetings and councils held at church buildings where the app can play some of its most critical roles. These are, in my estimation, the most noticeable issues that the app has, and and I cannot give a good rating, let alone a good recommendation of the app so long as they remain generally unresolved. I request that the developers and content teams put in the time and effort needed to move the app beyond these issues, and especially so that the chronic problems can be resolved. -- Another Nickname999, 2024-12-10 ### ****- "Not old style" The App is a huge improvement over keeping all the data recorded and submitted on paper! I don’t know why but in the recent update it won’t let me sign in. It tells me to sync accounts, I click the button to start the download, it’ll pause for a few seconds then say “download failed, please try again later” I’ve been trying for several days and nothing works. I’ve tried the tips and tricks to get it to work but the advice was useless.
