Members First Credit Union been my credit union for over 30 years. The benefits of working with a smaller financial institute affords members the personal attention lost these days in large banks.
My wife and I have tried getting the app to work off and on for over a year hoping the issue was fixed, but every time we try and log in it says log in info is incorrect. We tried resetting the password multiple times. My wife even called and after all was said and done the person helping her said it should be working but couldn’t understand why it wasn’t and it was left at that. We tried the app on both Android and iPhone, so it wasn’t a specific platform issue. Being able to not have to drive over to the physical locations to deposit a check, especially these days, would be such a nice feature. Guess I’ll just have to keep dreaming of a day when it will finally work.
I wish that if a check deposit doesn’t get accepted that you would text me so I know to resubmit. I don’t have time to monitor if every check I deposit is accepted or not a few days later. We have a joint account and if there is a notice going to my husband’s email he never looks at them.
This app used to work, but for the past several months it will not log in 9 times out of 10. I get an “application error” message every time I open the app. This is very frustrating when I have a check to deposit and it takes me multiple tries per day for four or five days in a row before the app will actually load. And there is no place in the app to get help or submit feedback. Very disappointing. I will be calling the local branch to let them know, but you would think that after months of this problem, someone else would have complained and they would have fixed it. My husband has the same issue on his phone too, so it’s not just me. And we have recent iPhones, so the app really should work on them.

... but, tons of issues with check deposits. Pictures randomly upside down. Ap freezes up to 3 times on some checks requiring force close, then you don't know if the checks went through. Even when processed, check batches are arbitrarily lumped together so there's no consistent way to export deposits for your accountant. Very challenging for business owners.

Normally this app works great, however with the iOS 10 Beta the app crashes when trying to do a mobile deposit (take picture of from of check and it crashes after selecting the photo).
