I’m unhappy with the app update. The tilted tiles distract from the game task, and when matches are made they travel to each other before disappearing, which sometimes blocks the view of remaining tiles. This interferes with fast game action. 
UPDATE: I found in the app Settings that users can choose to have the tiles travel to each other bidirectional disappearing, or not. I’m happy to be able to choose not, like before the update. 
I do find it much harder to read the scoring than in the pre-update version
