Description

Currently Ménière’s disease is quite poorly understood and limited research has been carried out into the condition. Ménière’s Monitor has been created specifically to study how the symptoms of the disease vary on a daily basis. In particular, the aim is to investigate what factors influence symptom severity and whether any environmental factors influence symptoms.
Using Ménière’s Monitor is quick and easy. First you will be asked to complete a few questions about yourself. Then it's just a case of filling out a survey each day measuring your symptoms, taking no more than about 30 seconds.
Ménière’s Monitor will automatically send your surveys to our central database. You will be shown your data as well as the national averages on customisable graphs.
Please note:
- To take part in the research you must allow location awareness on your device. Without this, Ménière’s Monitor can be used for personal use but your data cannot be used for research purposes.
- Ménière’s Monitor will access the internet when it needs to upload your data or download the national average data.

Looks promising but I can't get past the profile screen. It hangs up on the location question, possibly because I'm not in the UK.

Hoping it Works

So far I can't get past the second screen. A box popped up saying the app wants to monitor my location, so I selected okay and it went to the next question. I answered that one but it won't advance to the next screen because it says I did not answer the previous question about my location.

Waste of Time

This App is worthless. Ménière's disease causes many problems in my daily life. This app makes it seem as if Ménière's disease is something simple and childish. The way they have you rate your daily items with smiling faces that change to frowning faces is ridiculous. I'm disappointed I'm glad that there was not a cost associated with this app because then I would have really been upset to even have wasted $.99!

This app is good but it need a lot of work. This app don't let me track all of the symptoms a have with Meniere's, or do it let me go back to make changes about how I feel. Need a better understand of the disease to create a better app. Thank you.
