## Mentor DDP by eDriving℠ Description
Mentor DDP by eDriving℠ is an app for drivers of Distribution and Delivery Partners around the world. Mentor helps you improve your driving by measuring your driving behaviors, providing actionable feedback, helping you to develop safer driving habits that can be sustained over time. Changing behavior and habits is hard work, as anyone knows who has attempted to modify their diet or exercise routine. But Mentor can help you make key changes in driving habits, one trip at a time, by:
- Identifying “at-risk” behaviors including Harsh Acceleration, Hard Braking, Harsh Cornering, Phone Distraction, and Speeding
- Measuring and rewarding changes in behavior
- Providing engaging 3-5-minute micro-training modules to help encourage behavior change

   
Why is this needed? The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) has identified the main cause for crashes: Drivers! An NHTSA study found that 94% of crashes were caused by drivers’ actions which reflect their attitudes and behaviors, NOT by skill gaps or an inability to drive. Increasingly, driver distraction is contributing to more collisions and incidents than ever before – both mental distraction (thinking about something other than driving) and physical distraction (interacting with a phone). And it’s getting worse! Over the last two years, the rate of increase in road fatalities rose to levels unseen in the past 50 years.

Only use because work require us to do so, it is extremely inaccurate, the miles are never correct the timings are sometimes hours away from being correct, i use this on my other device which ONLY HAS THIS APP, and the phone is on a mount in the van and doesn’t get touched, yet it registers a phone manipulation event, i email customer support telling them it’s a mistake and they proceed to give many different excuses which aren’t feasible at all. Awful app and awful tech.

Worse app ever makes you use always location access, why like all others can’t this app let you just use location whilst using the app, so poor, also when driving tell you your bad even when nothing is happening such a bab app to use for the works. App owner does not care as nothing has been changed or made better for the users.

### *---- "Missed call = distraction"
Marking me down for a missed call as “call received”. So basically you’re trapped no matter what you do. You get a call? You will get marked down even if you don’t answer it. I’m surprised these half-witted “developers” haven’t been hit with a lawsuit yet considering all the other issues this waste of storage space has, but this is new, and they just took the helicopter parenting to a whole new level.

They’re just playing with people’s livelihood like it’s a game and support staff just keeps giving you generic copy-paste replies without ever addressing any issues.

Word of advice: if your employer requires you to use this app, run as fast as you can. This is a scam at this point.

Mentor is the worst app I’ve ever used, it’s so inaccurate and provides false feedback on you’re driving ability. It’s a huge confidence blow if you have a bad driving day when in reality you have done nothing wrong. This can lead to loss of work and effect you’re income based on false information. This application requires serious work.

Have to use this app as a contractor. Most useless app ever used. Doesn’t record your trip correctly on miles travelled or time driven. Look back at previous trip and it looks like I’ve been flying a plane not driving a van. Unless you have to use it …..DON’T BOTHER.

Telefon leży cały dzień w jednym miejscu i nagle pokazuje obsługę telefony, a ten telefon urzynają tylko i wyłącznie do tej aplikacji, nawet nikt do mnie nie dzwoni batem numer, bo nikt nie ma tego numeru. Pomijając fakt, że jak mogą monitorować twoja drogę jak nie wiedzą co dzieje się na jezdni. Raz miałem ochotę napisać w komentarza „Przepraszam, że hamowałem jak dziecko wybiegło na drogę”. Aplikacja bez nadzieja i nie ma żadnego odzwierciedlenia w rzeczywistości.

Calibration on this app is shocking . How is it meant to know when you are coasting or being eco . How is it calibrated for different roads ie when you’ve routes in the country & a tractor or livestock appears leaving you no choice but to brake hard & get 100 points wiped !?  This app is seriously flawed & ive proven it by having a profession driving instructor use it to get marked just over 515 for a journey he suggested was fully appropriate & all below legal requirements ! He was seriously baffled & deflated !

I am forced to use this on a multi drop courier contract. It is truly appalling, my phone lives in my glovebox yet I regularly get mark diwns for phone interference due to movement in the glovebox. Having tested it, the app has no clue of speeding - I tested 80mph on 50mph zone - no app flag up for speeding. If the app is on a device in your pocket for the day, guaranteed 1 star rating as you will receive mark diwns for phone interference and sharp cornering ;while one foot. 
I could go on all day about how despicable this app is but a brief summary is - inaccurate corporate check box excercise and support team in place to defend flaws rather than fix them, wish I could have given 0 stars..

On a motorway app saying a was doing cornering , phone using and speeding. In reality was using cruise control and driving with the same speed, not touching my phone .. this app is absolutely waste.. when you go slow it’s give you 1 star, when you speeding it’s give 4 stars  WOW ... can I remind - this is app educational not for people who drive and work every day and spend around 10 hours on a road.  Can’t give you less then 1 - no that option.

Forced to use it by contractor, not accurate, claimed I had driven more miles than my vans trip computer, drains battery, the phone I use for deliveries used to last the whole day and the journey home without needing charged & now barely lasts about 2 thirds of my route(this means I then need to use my back up device that I have in case my work device gets damaged) you’re score will be penalised for carrying out an emergency stop, penalised for accelerating when joining national speed limit single carriageway roads from side roads, penalised for legally using your phone via the vehicles handsfree Bluetooth technology, took a photo of my licence plate for the mandatory vehicle check(unnecessary if you aren’t using a fleet van IMO) and it read PeterVardy(the company I bought my van from) instead of the actual registration plate. Most days it seems to miss the plate even though it’s smack bang in the middle of the square. Tried watching one of the “training” orientation videos, painful to say the least, gave up. Honestly, this app is a total waste of my time and the only reason it’s remained downloaded on any device I own is so that I am not put “off-road” and lose out on income from my contractor.

Absolute useless application. I send my score every day to my manager but the app does not upload my trips.. sometimes I have to wait 5-10 minutes to “upload the route” then on the end it does not show a new score. I always try to make sure I have got 4G and signal is max.. Sometimes it works sometimes you just lose your whole day’s “driving data”....
