Merazine: Fashion with friends

This is such a fun and useful app! I just found out about it today and I am OBSESSED but I have prominent curves and am short. Would love to be able to adjust the settings so I see more clothes that would fit better on me!

I love the idea of this app SO MUCH! I used it endlessly when it came out and used to do the daily challenges EVERYDAY. It’s so fun and an easy way to shop and explore fashion. The little dress up option is super cool as well, it combines all the features of my favorite apps and makes shopping so much easier because it’s all in one place. That being said, the concept is indefinitely better than the actual execution of the app. I almost physically CAN’T use the app anymore despite wanting and trying to. When I get on it now, it either freezes or crashes. I’ll reload the app and it will just do it again. It’s so frustrating. Everything takes like five minutes to load and when it does, it will glitch and not let me save it like anything. Also, it never loads the actual pictures of the clothes for challenges so I can’t participate. On the off chance it does load, i will refresh and the app will crash and loose my progress which is SO frustrating. Also when I try to see more clothes for a brand, it will say the brand has 0 items listed….for EVERY brand? So I can’t find more clothes I like. I also hate the updates where I have to click the forward button to find more clothes opposed to being able to search or just keep scrolling. I hate that I can only see 20 items at a time. I think once the glitches are figured out, it will be an amazing app.

2 Stars When I first downloaded the app I was really excited to see diverse styles and finally find a community that aligned with my fashion taste, especially since I don’t live in an area like NY. I loved that I could use the app as if it were my own closet. I don’t go many places these days, I style clients, and have to pay rent, so yeah this was feeding my imagination! I was hooked; checking the app multiple times a day, discovering other users, and finding brands- I even had the thought that the app could become place for networking and finding friends. Well. After 4 days my followers went from 83 to 0, and noticed that the majority of users have the same issue, all except for the accounts they encourage us to follow when we downloade the app. I suspect these might be the creators. I love the option to make mood-boards, public favorites list, and the daily challenges. However, it would be great if the software continuously expanded to the library of options, as well as the search algorithm, is not accurate and could use some detailing. Again the concept of this app is unique and fun. As of now I haven’t been able to find a main hub for the app, i.e. Instagram, TikTok, or an active site that isn’t a landing page, so of course updates might be developing as I type this out. All this to say, this great idea shouldn’t be treated like a concept to put out into the world only to let it rot in the sun. UPDATE: 3 Stars The app’s updates are great! There are more aesthetic photos to choose from for the daily challenges, follower count is visible, and some of the avatar clothings were also tweaked. There is a new brand directory took the place of the community tab, which is a bit of a let down, but I’ll trust the process. A leaderboard has also been added to the Dress Code challenge and rearranging small details on the profile page. Feels like this is taking a step towards marketing these brands’ products, I’m just hoping it doesn’t become a consumerism app.

I’m seriously in love with this app! It’s so fun and I love all the high end, small brands that are on the app that get more exposure through it!However, I think there are a few things that could make the app even better: 1. Maybe have a 1st, 2nd, 3rd winners of the daily contests. Also maybe having more contests to participate in each day, and maybe styling an outfit on a model like how you can with your profile 2. When going to the website of a product, maybe have a button that allows you to go to the browser page or to copy the link 3. In the profile page, allowing someone to select multiple products to put into a collection rather than having to individually select each one There are also a few glitches, such as incorrect prices/discounts being shown, or a reload not working and the app shutting down. Other than some small stuff though, this app is definitely worth it!

Update- thank you for being so responsive! Dress Code is usable again! Most of my outfits from early to mid November are still missing clothes/comments but that’s okay. Just glad the feature is usable again :) — I love love love this app - it’s so much fun to try on outfits and explore new brands, and I really love the dress code challenges each day. But the update 2 days ago made the app almost unusable for me - my notifications button is now completely gone, no clothes will load when I try to submit an outfit for the dress code, and some of my previous outfits (and the clothes I used or the likes and comments on others) have disappeared from my profile overnight, among other things. I would love to update this to five stars if these bugs get fixed, I’m so sad I can’t really use my new favorite app anymore :(

I really enjoyed the app, super fun to dress up an avatar, try on clothes, and then be able to potentially buy it. What was sad was the lack of inclusive options for customizing ur avatar. Specifically a HUGE LACKING of inclusive hairstyles. Would be great to see more options.

It’s a great idea and for the first 5 minutes it was good but when I went back into the app there’s no way to log back into the account id already made so I thought it had been deleted so I created a new one only to find out my old account was still there.
