## Mercato Description
Shop handpicked groceries from the convenience of home. Brought to you by the people of Mercato.

Order food from your favorite local grocery stores and enjoy fast, same-day home delivery. At Mercato, we support local small businesses and the environment at the same time, all while delivering the freshest and most delicious food to your door.

Whether you’re craving artisan snacks, beer, wine, meat, or just fresh, delicious food that you can’t get at a major supermarket chain, Mercato has you covered. With a few taps on the app, you’ll get fresh food and grocery items delivered same-day or via pick up at the store.

Buy from your local grocery store, butcher shop, farmers’ market, food hall, cheese shop or baker and set your table with the best food in your neighborhood.

Your food will be hand selected and packaged by your local grocer, with only the care that grocers themselves can provide. No “shoppers” are hired to liaison between you and the store – our grocers package your fruit, cheese, vegetables, and meat themselves. We make it easy for you to support local businesses and get the highest quality food, while providing the best service and experience available.

Enjoy unlimited free delivery if you sign up for Mercato Green – and for every purchase you make as a Mercato Green member, we’ll plant a tree.

Mercato is the only grocery delivery service that allows you to live well, eat well and do good at the same time.

With Mercato, you can also:
– Reorder previous purchases with one tap

## Mercato Reviews in United States

### **--- "App won’t load"
The app sometimes would not load at all deeming it unusable
-- Inav200, 2024-12-23

### *---- "Terrible customer service"
This is the second time in a couple of months that I placed an order via the Mercato app and it was supposedly delivered but nothing ever arrived. Both times it happened on the weekend when there’s no phone number for Mercato that works on the weekend. Extremely disappointing, as there’s literally nothing I can do to address this until Monday (which is too late since I needed the food this weekend). Avoid Mercato if you can.
-- Silver Mark, 2024-12-01

### **--- "Won’t allow delivery"
I’ve used the app before without any issues a few months ago. Now it’s not allowing me to place an order because “I must add a last name.” But it won’t save my name. I don’t know why it even needs my last name to deliver. All good, because Whole Foods also delivers.
-- Ted Omb, 2024-07-07

### *---- "Bugs!"
The app used to work so well. But since updating the app and iOS, the app has lost some functionality. I am trying to place an order in advance, like I have done before. I get the box to select the date and time. I can click on the date, but it doesn’t let me select a time from the options available. So essentially I cannot preorder anything since I cannot choose the pickup date and time. Sadness. And I cannot get help because the support link goes to: oops The page you were looking for doesn't exist The only other support option is the AI chatbot. And it doesn’t help at all. And it “can’t understand” anything you type. Especially to ask for support or to report technical issues. Dysfunctional app and no support. No use having the app. If it would allow, it would be a ZERO STARS rating.

### *---- "Overcharges"
Be careful. I ordered something and they overcharged by $15 for no reason
-- bjobby, 2024-05-02

### ***** "A GREAT EXPERIENCE!"
Mike, the order manager was extremely helpful in helping me navigate the Mercato app as well as providing very thorough and useful information. My delivery person who delivered my first order was very positive and a joy to interact with as well. A grateful thank you to them both. My order fulfillment was spot on. All in all a great experience! ❤️🙏🏼❤️
