## Mercator Ikuu Description
The Mercator Ikuü app is intuitive and user-friendly. Our design team is continually reviewing its functionality to ensure a positive user experience, while our dedicated R&D team works on new products and app features to ensure that Mercator Ikuü remains relevant, useful and innovative.

Mercator Ikuü is a cloud-based platform that includes a wide range of products. With a vast array of products all paired to the Mercator Ikuü app, you can have these products all work together with one simple tap. Mercator Ikuü utilises the ‘if this, then that’ concept in a user-friendly, easy to configure manner, meaning that one product can inform the actions of another.

Products within the range utilise either Wi-Fi or Zigbee 3.0, so that you can choose how to use your products. Products appear in the app exactly the same regardless of whether they use Wi-Fi or Zigbee 3.0, and can interact together in the same way. This means that the customer gets the advantages of each, without the cumbersome effort of having to navigate between different apps for different products.

Get your day started with lighting, electrical, climate and air-movement products all initiated with one tap or voice command!

## Mercator Ikuu Reviews in Australia

### ****- "Great Tuya based Smart Gear"
Mercator Ikuu is some of the best available smart home equipment with the largest range of devices available in Australia. App needs timers for remote controls set up for IR blasters not just scheduled times.
-- bmanfield, 2025-03-02

### **--- "Aweful"
My experience with it, it failed to pair devices in either mode. Yet home assistant paired it first go - pretty bad when something as terrible as home assistant beats the native app. On the good side though, it doesn’t force you to sign up to Chinese communist party to use the app.
-- madsnorter, 2023-10-21

### *---- "Bad just bad"
No more to say - bad
-- Bad..?, 2023-08-17

### *---- "Crashes when creating an Schedule Automation"
App seems like a copy of Tuya and other brands using the Tuya hardware. Keeps on crashing when simply creating a schedule automation. Every time I select a day the whole list doubles up in terms of they days. I select another day and it crashes.
-- LOY80Y, 2023-01-11

### ***** "Reasonable implementation"
The app itself is easy enough to use, a little clunky around the edges and some things not super intuitive but it does everything you need it to once you figure it out. Saves scenes are picked up by Google assistant without issue (tip - ask Google assistant to “sync devices” to force an update).

The app detected all my products with no issues, control of Zigbee items is pretty much instant as it should be.

My only gripe is the scenes page take a good 10 seconds or so to load after opening the app.

Would also be nice to be able to use the current state of all the lights or groups of lights to start setting up a scene. The process is very manual at the moment.

With some improvements and ongoing updates i think this can be a bery solid smart product eco-system.

### *---- "Doesn’t work"
The app won’t work. Will not connect. Rubbish!
-- @rosibud, 2022-09-26

### *---- "Dumbass app"
Stupid app wont work and the lights dont work either
-- Prototototototototo, 2021-09-20

### ***** "Easy to use and set up"
I really liked the instructions that were easy to follow in setting it up and learning how to set up the scenes.
-- LJC_007, 2020-12-17

### ***** "Eazy to use"
Eazy to set up and use. Multiple devices up and operating in minutes. Instructions clear and precise anddelivered in friendly way. Will be using for whole home automation.
-- Ignatius H, 2020-12-17

### *---- "Doesn’t work"
It could be the app or the single point switch device to blame, but I have no way of knowing. It simply fails to connect as it’s supposed to. Four attempts with the correct input information and 30 minutes wasted.
