MERCEDES-BENZ: ALL FUNCTIONS AT A GLANCE

ALWAYS INFORMED: The Vehicle Status informs you about the mileage, range, current fuel level or data from your last journey. Use the app to conveniently check your tyre pressure, the status of the doors, windows, sliding sunroof/soft-top and boot, or the current locking status. You can also pinpoint the location of your vehicle and receive warning messages regarding, for example, unlocked doors.

CONVENIENT VEHICLE CONTROL: With the Mercedes-Benz App, you can remotely lock and unlock or open and close the doors, windows, and sliding sunroof. Start the auxiliary heating/ventilation or program it based on your departure time. In electric vehicles, you can also activate pre-entry climate control and set the desired interior temperature immediately or for a defined departure time.

CONVENIENT ROUTE PLANNING: Plan your route at your leisure and conveniently send addresses to your Mercedes via the App. This means you can get in and drive off straight away.

SAFETY IN AN EMERGENCY: The Mercedes-Benz App notifies you of attempted theft, an attempt to tow away the vehicle and parking damage. If a vehicle alarm has been tripped, you can turn it off via the app. The Geofencing service sends you a notification as soon as the vehicle enters or leaves an area defined by you.

FUEL-EFFICIENT DRIVING:The Mercedes-Benz App shows you your vehicle's individual fuel consumption. It also compares your fuel consumption with that of other drivers of the same vehicle model. The ECO display informs you about the sustainability of your driving style.

BOOKING MORE EASILY THAN EVER: The Mercedes-Benz App reminds you of your next workshop appointment in good time. If you want to book a service at your authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer, the app does this in just a few steps.

ALWAYS IN CONTACT WITH YOUR SERVICE PARTNER: Find a Mercedes-Benz partner near you quickly and easily and save your preferred partner in the app.

INDIVIDUAL OFFERS: For the best possible maintenance of your Mercedes, the Mercedes-Benz App provides you with an offer tailored to your vehicle.

With a Mercedes me ID, you can access services on the Mercedes-Benz App, even if your vehicle isn't connected.

De kaartview laadt dikwijls niet zodat locatie niet duidelijk is. Functionaliteiten zijn niet allemaal actief Onduidelijk ook of on the air update nu wel of niet werkt op mijn voertuig. Staat wel actief maar er lijkt niet veel te gebeuren. Veelbelovende app maar is nog veel werk aan dus.
Update 17/12/24: kaarten komen nu wel goed door. 
Remote updates lijkt wel ok te zijn.
Dus misschien iets te snel geoordeeld. 
Sommige zaken nemen blijkbaar even tijd om volledig actief te zijn.

De app is bijzonder leuk, maar werkt sinds een jaar praktisch nooit. Voorheen was dit wel het geval. 
Ik vind dit bijzonder spijtig, want ik betaal niet weinig om deze app te kunnen gebruiken. Het lijkt me logisch dat je voor dat bedrag mag verwachten dat deze doet wat moet?

Sinds maart rijd ik een nieuwe SL43. Ondanks alle negatieve reacties, vind ik het idee een 2 liter/4cilinder in deze prachtige cabrio in te bouwen geweldig. Ik heb 5 Jaguars en 2 Maseratis (8 en 12 cilinders) gehad, maar dit is tegenwoordig achterhaald, vooral in Nederland met maximaal 100km/h.
Ik was eerst ontevreden met de 9 Gtronic vanwege het schokkende schakelen. Nu is er een update gedaan en heb een volledig andere auto, hij schakelt zijdezacht en het schokken is volledig verdwenen.
Nu is het winter en ik wilde eerst een GLC erbij kopen, maar dit is helemaal niet nodig. Met winterbanden is deze wagen fantastisch: stuur- en stoelverwarming, wintermodus enz. Het is tenslotte toch een Mercedes en dat betekent degelijkheid, perfecte afwerking en voor mij een enorm rijplezier.

In het begin geen problemen met de app maar de laatste paar maanden dien ik meermaals opnieuw op te starten en soms werkt het gewoon niet. Als ik de locatie wil zien krijg ik beperkte voertuigverbinding. Update app helpt niet. 
Het lukt ook soms niet om het opladen te starten via de app, terwijl dit voorheen nooit een probleem was.
