MERCEDES-BENZ: ALL FUNCTIONS AT A GLANCE

ALWAYS INFORMED: The Vehicle Status informs you about the mileage, range, current fuel level or data from your last journey. Use the app to conveniently check your tyre pressure, the status of the doors, windows, sliding sunroof/soft-top and boot, or the current locking status. You can also pinpoint the location of your vehicle and receive warning messages regarding, for example, unlocked doors.

CONVENIENT VEHICLE CONTROL: With the Mercedes-Benz App, you can remotely lock and unlock or open and close the doors, windows, and sliding sunroof. Start the auxiliary heating/ventilation or program it based on your departure time. In electric vehicles, you can also activate pre-entry climate control and set the desired interior temperature immediately or for a defined departure time.

CONVENIENT ROUTE PLANNING: Plan your route at your leisure and conveniently send addresses to your Mercedes via the App. This means you can get in and drive off straight away.

SAFETY IN AN EMERGENCY: The Mercedes-Benz App notifies you of attempted theft, an attempt to tow away the vehicle and parking damage. If a vehicle alarm has been tripped, you can turn it off via the app. The Geofencing service sends you a notification as soon as the vehicle enters or leaves an area defined by you.

FUEL-EFFICIENT DRIVING:The Mercedes-Benz App shows you your vehicle's individual fuel consumption. It also compares your fuel consumption with that of other drivers of the same vehicle model. The ECO display informs you about the sustainability of your driving style.

BOOKING MORE EASILY THAN EVER: The Mercedes-Benz App reminds you of your next workshop appointment in good time. If you want to book a service at your authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer, the app does this in just a few steps.

Use of the functions may be restricted temporarily if there is insufficient data transmission bandwidth.Continuous use of the GPS function in the background may shorten your battery life.

The app was designed very poorly. Seems that the designers and developers never really cared or used the app. Constantly failing. Too bad and sad. 
Update after developer response:
Let me be more specific. 
1) No notification management. The user must be able to select notifications to receive, not just on/off
2) My app language is ENGLISH, why can’t I get notifications in the app language? I don’t want it to be local language ONLY!
3) No operation cancellation option. 
4) Often the app must be restarted several times to have the map working. 
5) Route suggestion function is often not working, just saying-it’s not available. Multiple app restarts required to have it working. 
6) The passenger display custom image gallery for only ONE image? In 2025? Really?!

This is not all. 
Not to mention the funny fact that I was asked several times to do the review, but the app crashed on submission. “Something went wrong “ message.

### **--- "Phased-Out Features for 2015–2018 Models"
The app no longer provides essential services like geolocating my car or locking/unlocking the doors for car models from 2015 to 2018, even though these cars are equipped with the onboard communication module. While the app itself is well-designed, and I appreciate the Apple Watch integration, phasing out these services for older models significantly reduces its value. Therefore, I can only give it 2 stars.

Had to contact MB support 3 times during a last month.

They “reset” something, for a while battery status is being upgraded but then goes off the sync and do not update.

Vehicle is eqe 500.
