MERCEDES-BENZ: ALL FUNCTIONS AT A GLANCE

ALWAYS INFORMED: The Vehicle Status informs you about the mileage, range, current fuel level or data from your last journey. Use the app to conveniently check your tyre pressure, the status of the doors, windows, sliding sunroof/soft-top and boot, or the current locking status. You can also pinpoint the location of your vehicle and receive warning messages regarding, for example, unlocked doors.

CONVENIENT VEHICLE CONTROL: With the Mercedes-Benz App, you can remotely lock and unlock or open and close the doors, windows, and sliding sunroof. Start the auxiliary heating/ventilation or program it based on your departure time. In electric vehicles, you can also activate pre-entry climate control and set the desired interior temperature immediately or for a defined departure time.

CONVENIENT ROUTE PLANNING: Plan your route at your leisure and conveniently send addresses to your Mercedes via the App. This means you can get in and drive off straight away.

SAFETY IN AN EMERGENCY: The Mercedes-Benz App notifies you of attempted theft, an attempt to tow away the vehicle and parking damage. If a vehicle alarm has been tripped, you can turn it off via the app. The Geofencing service sends you a notification as soon as the vehicle enters or leaves an area defined by you.

FUEL-EFFICIENT DRIVING:The Mercedes-Benz App shows you your vehicle's individual fuel consumption. It also compares your fuel consumption with that of other drivers of the same vehicle model. The ECO display informs you about the sustainability of your driving style.

BOOKING MORE EASILY THAN EVER: The Mercedes-Benz App reminds you of your next workshop appointment in good time. If you want to book a service at your authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer, the app does this in just a few steps.

Had this app since May 2024.  One of the best features is the speed of action, usually with other car apps it take 20-30 seconds for the car to respond. With this app it’s instantaneous.

The one gripe is that the weekly program for pre entry climate control has stopped working. They say they’ll fix it, but it’s been 2-3 weeks. Help!

I have an 2023 EQE and 90% of the time the car and iPhone app are not in sync meaning info such as battery charge level/ range are not correct on the app. I have to regularly uninstall / reinstall which for me makes it a waste of time

Great app, when it doesn’t kick you out and then won’t let you back in. Both email and text options of reset code don’t ever arrive. Absolute rubbish

Excellent app - user-friendly and nice layout. However, the Mercedes products are all split into different packages so you will find when your initial period runs out, you will have to pay additional fees for satnav, remote locking etc. I have these 2 packages which are now costing me £163 a year. Very naughty Mercedes. The satnav however is the best we’re ever had (vs VW, BMW or Tesla). Excellent at re-rerouting when there are traffic jams ahead (you do have to trust it). Not so good in France when it abandoned us in a field while trying to get to Carrefour, but great in the UK. Remote locking is very useful and being able to locate and track your car gives you an insurance discount.

It’s a shame that the ‘Pre-entry climate control’ function for weekly departure time is not working for Mercedes EQA 2024 since latest updates. I cannot understand how Mercedes doesn’t bother on checking that the basic functions are working when releasing an app that essential for the control of the vehicle. In fact, this function wasn’t working in old versions, then fixed and I was able to program Pre-entry climate control for weekly departure times and in different days. And now nightmare again with this feature not working! Unacceptable!

App worked perfectly for 3 months and was great. Yesterday I noticed it had logged me out. When I logged back in my vehicle was no longer showing. I tried to add my vehicle but it just says “this vehicle is already defined” and won’t let me add it. My profile still works in the vehicle, it is just the app that doesn’t recognise me. Really disappointing as the app and its capabilities are paid for.
