Merlin Bird ID von Cornell Lab

I tell everyone I know to get this app. It is so so so good - even for people somewhat interested in birds. My favorite app in the whole world!! Great features and wonderful for travelers who want to get to know the new birds of the area.

Ein großes Log an die Entwickler, so macht man eine gute App. Einfach die Aufnahme starten, man kann das Tonspektrum beobachten und dort auch Vogelrufe identifizieren die man akustisch kaum wahrgenommen hat. Erkannt Vögel werden aufgelistet, sogar mit Bild, wenn man die entsprechende geographische Erweiterung dazugetanen hat. Ich bin einfach begeistert.

I would love to use the App again, but it always says I have to confirm my email adress, and I don't get any confirmation mail from the app. I get confirmation emails from the website and confirmed it already but this doesn't connect with the app. So I can't use it anymore. :/ I deleted the app and downloaded it a second time already.

PLEASE add the color PINK to your color scheme - I couldn’t find any Flamingos and we have seen different ones on our travel! Thank you!

I cannot praise this app enough. As someone who has never been into birds and stumbled upon this by accident, I haven’t been able to take off my eyes off of the trees in weeks. I’ve quite literally formed a new love for the nature surrounding me. The app works so well, I love the sound ID. Have been showing this app to other people and everyone is absolutely fascinated. Wonderful for beginners (like me) too, easy to use, lovely to use with children to discover and read up on all the birds. Truly in love. And all that for free! Thank you for this amazing app!

Great technology and constantly inproving.

In den Einstellungen der App kann man die Sprache der Vogelnamen individuell einstellen :) Super App, für alle die mehr über Vögel in ihrer Umgebung lernen wollen.

Gut aufgebaute App,übersichtlich, die Beschreibung auf Deutsch, Aber leider die Vogelnamen nur auf Englisch.

Hab plötzlich nur mehr englische Vogelnamen, obwohl in den Einstellungen deutsch gewählt ist.
