Every time you open the snap up the on button is great out you try to tap it and you just get constant connection errors, why can't the App check when it loads for a connection to the server to see whether or not this item is switched on? This isn't rocket science guys come on

I’ve had eight Meross smart plugs for three years. In the current version of the app, they will not connect to plugs that are not already connected. Two are working normally, but the app doesn’t recognize that others have entered pairing mode. I submitted a ticket through the website, but there’s no way to receive any support for why the app doesn’t work with the company’s own plugs.

Every time the power trips it is down which has been a lot lately, MeRoss never reconnects to Google home even when I tell it to. It takes days and seems to reconnect only when IT feels like it. Even with firmware updates etc, if after complete reinstall. Super frustrating. There are better products available.

This app is useless. I purchased a lamp and tried to add it to Alexa. If my phone is connected to WiFi there is no communication with the lamp when after I connect my phone to its WiFi. When I disconnect my phone from house WiFi I manage to connect to the device but then the last step fails, presumably because I am not connected to house WiFi. The only way this lamp connected was through Apple home. Returned the product and deleting the app. Very disappointed.
