New design is full of frictions. Loading time is a big hassle. Please bring old user experience. Whenever I tap to take an action It pops up a web view window. You’re lack of Native experience. Whoever the Product Manager is in charge please see these comments and fix it.
Too slow
Everything is too slow. Transfers from credit card rewards take forever. Should be instantaneous. Everything is much faster in other platforms. Can’t buy a stock unless you lookup the symbol beforehand. Can’t just put in the company name. Issues are too numerous to submit.
Not a helpful app
I’ve worked with many different financial apps and this one is pretty bad. Not only is it clunking to use it does not show order status. The only way to find order status is to go to the website. If I wanted to do that I wouldn’t need the app.
Not as good as E*trade and Morgan Stanley
It’s so difficult to actually place trades. It’s too slow of an entry process. True trade pro and you will understand the industry standard.
Partial shares
Allow partial shares to be purchased.
New dashboard is not intuitive
New dashboard is not at all intuitive and has a “close” as well as a “log out” button at top. Close usually means you want to close a pop-up message that the app thinks is important but is interrupting you from what you’re trying to do. Nope, this now means they’re going to log you out. Maybe I don’t want to confirm my address, which hasn’t changed in years, and I’m an adult who knows how to update my address accordingly, but instead I am booted out.
Thanks for not being intuitive compared to how app developers have trained us to ignore marketing add-on messaging for the last 15 years.
Redirects Immediately to BOA
The app for Merrill Lynch, which used to be a standalone app, now automatically opens up in the Bank of America app. You then need to scroll down to Merrill Lynch and click there in order to actually go to your Merrill Lynch account. This is nonsense.
Worst update ever
I cannot use my app, whatever I click, the webpage pops out, I cannot view my positions nor do any trades on this app anymore. What’s wrong with this app and why is the feature allowing webpage developed on a phone app?
App is Garbage
It’s just a replication of the BofA app. It can only do basic investment stuff. Trade a stock. Show your balance Show holdings.
No watchlists. Research is hard to find. App keeps kicking you back to the BofA accounts page when you hit back vs back to your holdings. This thing needs a full overhaul. Look at Schwab, ETrade, etc. If I didn’t have BofA for checking, I would not use Merrill Edge and WOULD NOT recommend this as your primary brokerage because the app is SO BAD! Be better.
Service is great, app not so much
The service is nice at ME and BoA but the app itself is very bad and flows clunkly. Wish it was easier to navigate,trade and view windows.
