## Mersey Burns App Description
Mersey Burns is an app to help doctors quickly and accurately prescribe resuscitation fluids to seriously burned people in emergencies. The doctor draws the burned areas on an outline of a person, enters their age, weight and time of burn. The weight can be estimated from the age if it’s not known. A button then shows the doctor the fluids prescription. The application provides doctors with an easy-to-use interface where they can draw the burned areas on a person's outline, input patient details, and obtain the prescribed fluid volume effortlessly. By automating the calculation process, Mersey Burns eliminates human errors and significantly reduces the margin of error in fluid prescription, ensuring patients receive the appropriate amount of fluids.

So downloaded the app, I’m a First Responder with my respective ambulance service and this app would have been handy to have.
Signed up giving all the info requested, weeks gone by heard nothing despite email follow ups.
For an App that is designed primarily for the emergency services, as a member of EMS I’m beyond disappointed and disgusted in how we’ve been treated by this app & company, as I know this isn’t the first case - reading reviews here.
Should be removed.

Having previously used this app professionally, I was logged out. I am now unable to log back in and despite sending multiple requests to sign up again, nothing ever happens.

This app is wonderful but ruined by inability to reliably access it.  

For some unfathomable reason you can’t start using the app until a human has validated your account.  Even though no credentials are checked. This is pointless. Appropriate domains could be whitelisted from the get go. 

Once provided with a password, my account inactivated after an unknown period of time.  When I forgot my password, it was not possible for me to reset it.

### *---- "Frustrating and Unreliable – Not Fit for Emergency Use"
I signed up for an account on the Mersey Burns App weeks ago, hoping to have a reliable tool for emergencies. Unfortunately, my account was never set up. I reached out to the developers multiple times, only to be met with silence—every single email ignored. I ended up having to use my NHS email just to make any progress.

Even with the account finally working, the app forces you to log in every single time you open it. This is incredibly frustrating and impractical when you need immediate access in an emergency.

To top it all off, after the latest update, the app has become entirely useless, as it’s now permanently stuck in demo mode. What’s the point of an app meant for emergency scenarios if it’s so unreliable? Avoid this app until these critical issues are fixed.

If you're in emergency medicine, this app is a no-brainer. It's super helpful for making quick decisions when every second counts. The layout is easy to navigate, and the recommendations are spot on. Highly recommend for doctors, nurses and paramedics who deal with burns.

I used this app occasionally in a pre-hospital setting.  Went to use it at a job recently and it had changed to a totally unusable colour version. I re-downloaded it to find that I now need to have an account. No big issue except that the account never got set up and the app does not respond to requests.
