We built Mesh to make it easier: no swiping, no awkward one-on-ones, just small group meetups at local venues like coffee shops, breweries, cafes, and third places around your city.

HOW MESH WORKS

1. Get a weekly invite
   We send you a text with a time and a local venue. You decide if you want to go that week. No pressure.

2. Tap “yep” or “nope”
   Open the link, say yes or no, and we’ll take it from there.

3. Meet your group
   We curate a small group of around 4 people using your profile and personality quiz. You get your group’s photos before the meetup and a group chat to help you organize any last-minute details, then show up with a smile and have fun.

Host or join casual events around your city. Want to start a run club, game night, coffee meetup, dinner, Bible study, book club, brewery night, or something completely your own? You can host your own event for free, and Mesh helps curate the people so it feels easier, safer, and more natural.

Every Mesh is designed to feel simple, public, and low-pressure. We usually send multiple groups to the same location, so the energy feels social without being overwhelming.

Connections are always in public, in a group setting. We never sell your data.

We are currently sending invites in Madison, Milwaukee, Nashville, Charlotte, Raleigh, and Minneapolis.

Once a city hits enough signups, we start sending invites so people have a better chance of meeting others around their age and stage of life. If you want Mesh in your city faster, share it with your friends or host an event to help bring people together.

We’re kind of like TimeLeft, but for coffee, third places, hosted events, and small group meetups around your city.

### ***** "A great way to meet people"
Was a little nervous to try this out. I’m not typically super outgoing but not having to swipe and not having all this anticipation built up before meeting helped a lot to get me to actually go. I don’t like getting to know people over text first because I worry they’ll have an idea of what to expect before meeting me, and I didn’t have to worry about that with Mesh. Michael, the founder, actually showed up at our coffee shop and we got to meet him too. Super down to earth guy who really cares about making communities in the cities that Mesh is in. Everyone was so nice and I really enjoyed my time. I got people around my age with similar interests and somewhat similar career paths too. This app is exactly as it presents itself - a wholesome way to make friends and support local coffee shops.

It was more fun than I expected and I ended up staying for a while longer than planned. At such a polarizing time in society, what a great way to build bridges and break down barriers.

Great way to meet people- you could use it like a more natural dating app if you wanted. Friendships make the best partners is all I’m saying. It was very easy to navigate

### ***** "The Caring Version of TimeLeft"
Having used both apps to meet people in my new city (and on the launch dates of both!) Mesh takes the cake on this one! Mesh was much more affordable and cared more about the customer in comparison to TimeLeft. The cost of one TimeLeft session was equal to 3 sessions of Mesh. With TimeLeft, you had to pay for both your meal and your ticket (and a slight discount for the ticket on launch day) while for Mesh, you had a free trial for the Launch day and only had to pay for a cup of coffee! The biggest component was a member of Mesh’s creation team being present at the launch! They made sure if a bug came up (like someone not being placed in a group) was fixed right away - they still found people to connect with. They chatted with each of the groups and wanted to get to know you, too! So much so, they asked for feedback - ways to enhance the app - and their plans for the future. They’re not out here to simply take your money, they’re hoping to assist you in making new connections in a difficult to navigate post-COVID/online world. TimeLeft was not present at the launch event, which caused a few problems the day of the dinner. Also, if you’re nervous about meeting your group, Mesh requires you to add a profile picture and the ability to chat with your group two hours beforehand on the app, unlike TimeLeft. This definitely helped me find my group with ease and even break the ice before meeting in person. I definitely recommend trying out Mesh as they truly care about you, your experience, and creating community again.

If you’re seeking connection and tired of dating apps, this is the right place for you.

Meeting people is hard and Mesh is a tool that helps facilitate new connections by matching you with 3 other people in your city at a local coffee shop each Saturday. 

There is something different about this app... It actually has soul in it. It is a social media tool that actually connects you with others in authentic ways, but still with that touch of adventure that comes with meeting new people in person. 

I can’t recommend this app enough, especially for those who seek to build social skills and increase their exposure to new experiences. Since starting, I can already tell this app is helping me break down walls I’ve built for years because of social media culture and the disconnection with people my age.

### ***** "Good, en route to Great, App"
Meeting pseudo-random people in small groups of 4, with new people every week, is the best way to go about making new friends IMO. Honestly, I think this is what dating apps should be, as well. No swiping and hoping that you come across the right person, no awkward online messaging, just safe, comfortable social get-togethers to encounter as many people as possible. Now, the app isn’t perfect, and I don’t meet a new long lost soulmate or best friend each time I go out. However, the devs are constantly working on improvements, really good about receiving feedback, and I truly see this as a new phase of Internet-based social interactions. This is something worth putting stock into. I’d pay for premium if I had the money to spare—not for the benefits, just ‘cause I believe in it.
