Meso Numismatics

Meso is a mobile app that helps you instantly indentify the details of any type of paper currency. Simply snap a photo of any banknote and Meso recognizes the catalog reference number, the value of the note, which entity it was issued by, the country of origin and the exact printing company whom printed the note. Directly below the information is a full-color picture of the banknote that is being identified.
With 750 countries/regions in the database, Meso hosts the information and pictures of over 61,000 banknotes. Whether you’re an avid numismatic collector, or simply curious about some foreign currency that you have, Meso will continuously deliver the results that you’re looking for!
To be able to recognize any banknote in existence, requires a type of artificial intelligence to continuously improve search results. Meso utilizes the industry leading image and video recognition API Clarifai, which is constantly ‘learning’, providing the best matches to the banknotes being scanned.
In those rare instances when a banknote might not yet be part of Meso’s database, users have the opportunity to submit their note for future inclusion. Meso’s proprietary software, in conjunction with Clarifai, instantly begins ‘learning’ about the note, preparing it for future recall.
Meso Numismatics, the creator of the Meso app, is one of the only Latin-American based, registered dealers with the Paper Money Guaranty (PMG) and the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC). With offices in Costa Rica and South Florida, Meso Numismatics has an on-the-ground advantage, providing knowledge and services to the region.
