Tried a bunch of detectors they don’t seem to be as sensitive as this one and it doesn’t spam you with ads. If you are having an issue with it beeping high send turn your phone upside down and scan with the top of it.. when it’s max sense it detects parts in your phone.. you avoid this by turning it a better angle. I can detect metal from a foot away from the ground. For an app that’s free that’s all you need. Thanks you

I was surprised because even though it’s not a ferrous metal, the detector reacted to my iud! So make sure to reduce the sensitivity if you’re using it and have a copper iud 😆

First of all iPhones DO NOT have a metal detector in them and can NOT find anything metallic, but as it states in the app, there are no ads meaning that the coders make no money. I can see it being funny to prank tech illiterate people but that’s it. The three star rating is for a use of the app but not what is claimed, if the app told you somewhere that it was a prank then I would be a five star

Found my property iron bars that were slightly buried and in a forest. Interestingly, it also reacted to iron in big rocks, it was that sensitive. Only suggestion would to have an audible feature, but vibration is perfectly ok. 
Where exactly on the iPhone is the sensor? Going east west then north south was a perfect way to located the bar. Huge thanks again!! Wow!!

Couldn’t find the stud in the wall by hand, tried another app first, had a timer to use and a cool down to be able to use again, could pay to have permanently, was absolutely useless. 

This app works perfectly! Free, no timer, and works as advertised. Found the stud within a minute and was able to move on with the project. 

Before using the phone on the wall, I would recommend you find out which part of your phone is registering the metal through the app, so you know where the stud is when the phone is scanning the wall.
