Great app, visual metar representation and so much more at a glance, just what I was looking for. Easy to use. Well thought out, happily switches between portrait and landscape, and dynamically resizes the elements into varying column widths for split screen on iPad. Makes a great addition to my sim flight deck..
Ok, but needs an update for history.
In principle this is very good, well laid out and easy to understand graphics. But there seems to be a problem with older metars. As it stands it displays about seven hours of metars and should I want to check a full day it tells me at the bottom of the page to hit Browse Older Metars. When I do that I’m redirected to a blank website which isn’t helpful. So it needs fixing or maybe it might be possible to give an option for the last twelve hours in the main section. One for the author to consider?
Pretty but wrong
Looks nice but for the airports I use, the information is completely wrong usually. The app mostly shows clear skies everywhere.
Perfect app for private flying
Crystal clear info and very simple to use.
Impressed
Very clear graphic advice. I find the wind orientation to the runway alone worth the money.
They have created a great product here and would recommend their sales/tech team look at adding other useful features like conversions ( gallons litres )
Worth every peny
Very useful app for pilots having both TAF and METAR quite accurate.
Screen goes black
When I search for an airport and press enter the screen goes black and nothing happens. I have to close the app and open it again. Not sure what to do.
