Meteor Shower Guide Reviews
Great Application
Informative application, keeps me apprised of upcoming meteor showers. Even allows for reminders to be added directly to your phone or device so you can remember to get outside and observe. Great technical support, answers to questions almost immediately! Highly recommended meteor shower app.!!
Beautiful interface
Easy to use, representation of the year’s meteor are listed in nice graphs. Tapping a shower listing gives all the information you need. None of the screen is wasted and yet very well organized. While in one of the meteor listings you can tap Alert to add to your default calendar. A must-have app.
Great meteor guide
Great for planning when to look up into the sky for watching meteors. Like that it tells you the outlook for the shower given the current moon phase. Also like that you can set a reminder directly in the app. Very handy that it works in offline mode so if you are in a remote area to view the shower you can still get info about the shower. Needs the ability to add notes within the app so that if you viewed a shower you can jot down info like: where you were and how many you saw. Then give a visual clue in the list to help you find those quickly or filter for those that have notes.
Meteor Shower Guide
I'm hoping this great app will be updated to work with the current version of iOS 10.3
Needs update iOS 8
Problem adding alert to calendar
All over great app but...
It's a great app don't get me wrong. But they should really update it. It's saying it says the sunrise is 7am but everything else I look at says 550ish
No Dates
Can't get the app to show any dates for future showers. Every group has 00/00/00 for the date. Probably some setting I don't know about but it's not terribly intuitive.
Very good app
I've used this app for several years to plan viewing. Lots of information and the Moon interference guide is invaluable.
Very good.
I've been using the guid for over a year now, and it very good. I'd like to see maybe some kind of bell curve that gives an idea of the count of meteors around the peak time, but other than that the app works great!
Needs Updated Catalog...
I like what the app provides and have not had any crashes on my iPhone 5. What does concern me is that comet 209P/LINEAR's shower was left out of the Catalog. Wonder what others have been left out? An updated Catalog would be nice.
