Method CRM

I have used this app along with the desktop version for a few years now. I feel it works great. The Quickbooks sync is flawless. The biggest feature that I wanted was customization. They allow me to add my own tables and fields. I can add fields for extra data into their tables as well. All in all very happy with it. Some honest downsides: You cannot download and backup your customizations to your own storage. Has not been an issue yet, but always a nagging though in the back of my mind. They do not have a direct code option for customizations. It’s all drag and drop/ click options. This means that you can’t reuse templates you build very easily. Especially if building separate apps that you want to blend the look seamlessly. So customizing multiple screens takes longer than needed. But it works great when it’s done. Last feature it’s missing is a scanner object. It’s a crm that lets you save attachments. But there is no easy way to get the attachments scanned in. It would be totally possible for them to add a web scan feature. And I would applaud them if this single feature was added. Even if it was an add on purchase feature it would be worth it.

Automation is horrible. Heavy data entry. Customer service and support will charge you for assistance. Method CRM expects user to fix own issues and challenges.

No Face ID options This becomes a pain when passwords need to be long and random for security

I put in my log in credentials, which I have verified are correct, and the dashboard pops up for a second before I am brought back to the log in screen. Still have not been able to get in and check the app out.

Not sure how you can really review something that when you enter the correct account info it won’t load. Works fine on desktop but unable to access from iPhone which is where you work most from these days.

I am a CPA and QuickBooks ProAdvisor and until very recently I was an Advanced Method Consultant - that is until Method deleted our company’s data...not once but twice - forcing us to rebuild our data. After that I could not in good conscience recommend Method to any of our clients. Method’s CEO, tried to buy my silence by asking me to sign a non disclosure agreement in exchange for a cash payment, which I refused. People need to know that their data is not safe with this company and that our situation is not an isolated incident. And to be clear, this was not due to non-payment. Also my data was irretrievably deleted.

Liked the idea of being able to access method while on the go with my phone. Unfortunately I can even log in, and yes my log in information is correct as I go to my computer and enter my credentials and it works fine. Not sure if the app is even supported anymore? Some fixes would be nice.

Method has been excellent in assisting our sales process and allowing us to map out our pipeline.

I've been using this for a month now. Amazing! My favorite is the contact screen. Simple. I'm using it more and more each day. All my business related contacts are in Method. I can customize the screen on my laptop, then see the results on my iPhone! Man, I've been waiting for this. It fully integrates with all versions of QuickBooks. Its fully customizable - and it's accessible in the palm of my hand.
