## Mextures Photo Editor Description
AppStore App of the year winner. Featured by Cosmopolitan Magazine, Men's Journal, Mashable, CNET, Uncrate, Cult of Mac, Fstoppers, AppAdvice, and more.

Mextures is the best app for applying dust and film grain, textures, light leaks and beautiful gradients to your images in seconds. No app is faster. And with our non-destructive workflow, you can make changes to your layers at any time during your editing process. Fine-tune your edits with photo adjustments and then save and share your edit for future use. Included are over 200 beautiful formulas for 1-click editing created by some of the top iPhone photographers in the world.

- OVER 150 TEXTURES -
You'll find analog light leaks, dusty film scans, tasteful grunge, artifacts, element textures, and perfectly tuned gradients. Effect too strong? Easily adjust the opacity. With 12 different blending modes, every new layer adds a dynamic range of possibilities.

- EDITING TOOLS: PERFECTED -
Overcomplicated adjustments are for the birds. Adjust your photos with professional-grade tools like Exposure, Contrast, Tint, White Balance, Fade, Black and White, Highlights/Shadows, Sharpness, and Saturation. Included are 30 film presets that emulate popular film stocks.

 - CREATE & SHARE -
Unlike any other app, you can save your edits for future use with our Formula workflow. Save and share as many formulas as you’d like and evolve a style that’s completely yours. And new in Mextures 2.0, our formula manager allows you to import formulas from other users. With a tap of a button, you can also share your formulas with a simple code on any social network.

 - INFINITE LAYERS -
Stack a virtually unlimited number of layers for beautiful blending effects. You can change any edit you do at any time. Change the texture, blend mode, or rotation of a layer even if you added it 30 steps ago. Tweak each adjustment setting anytime during your editing process.

## Mextures Photo Editor Reviews in United States

### **--- "Disappointed"
Seriously disappointed in the app. It used to be one of the best!!! Now it doesn’t even open after reinstalling several times.
-- fotomaniac5150, 2024-10-26

### **--- "Abandoned-Ware"
Sadly, this could-have-been-great app has had no update for over a year, and no real meaningful additions to the app, such as editing in landscape mode, or texture offerings before that. Too bad …
-- Jeff Van Syckle, 2024-10-17

### ****- "Fantastic features but"
An annoyance is that there is apparently no back button. So once you select a texture or formula you have to cancel and start over, finding your image again AND canceling the crop again (another annoyance… can that be turned off as an option please as well!?).

And it would be absolutely fantastic if I could make my own textures! OMG that would be the freakin bomb.

Overall though, so fantastic for the price. I’m using this thing all the time.

I might as well suggest a blur effect as well (gaussian, zoom, motion, etc.) as I tend to want a slight blur to any of the images I add filters to.

Give me and take my money!!! (If ya know, it’s just an extra $2-3).
-- Redhead12341234, 2024-10-05

### **--- "No longer works"
As of Sept. 2024, Mextures doesn’t work for me. The app loads but I can’t access photos or edit anything. RIP Mextures 🪦
-- Beat Navy!, 2024-09-10

### ****- "I LOVED this app! Please update!"
I absolutely loved this app, especially because it offered a huge selection of unique & different filters/looks that you couldn’t find anywhere else & also a wide range of editing abilities! This was my go to app for photo editing when using my phone for photography- which is more often that not. I also love the fact that you can create your own filters.

For some time now though the app won’t load further than the front page, it won’t let me open photos of go any further to edit anything. Please please do an update to fix this!

Other than that no complaints!
-- Mamawolf777, 2024-06-11

### ***-- "Wish it could batch edit"
I’d give this app 5 stars if it can batch edit. Editing photo by photo one at a time is such a pain. I’d pay to even have the batch feature.
-- Finallysleep, 2024-05-10

### ***** "Feedback from a photographer"
This is the best app I’ve ever used for editing and the amount of effects and filters that are available at no charge is amazing! Apps that have less options than your company, charge people. Your options are so creative too and the tools to adjust filters plus the basics, just… *chefs kiss. Even though this ain’t food.
-- whatkindaappdoesthis, 2024-05-01

### ***** "Brings photos and art works to life."
Been using Mextures for just about as long as it’s been a thing. My go to for adding just the right amount of what a photo needs to give it whatever aesthetic I’m going for. Best filter layering application out there
-- EaterOfDreamz, 2024-04-07

### **--- "Great but impossible to use"
I’ve been using this app for about 5 years. It is insanely amazing at editing. But it’s extremely unfortunate that I cannot use it. With every single update it’s gotten worse, now it doesn’t work at all or even open up on my iPhone 14. I need to boot up my old iPhone XS and use it on there (which the app is still very slow and glitchy, but at least works.. eventually) such an absolute bummer that it offers such amazing edits yet within 5 years the creators can’t figure out how to get this app to work properly so we can actually use it. And there’s virtually no support to contact about it.
-- Bmc89girl, 2024-02-19

### *---- "Crashes"
This used to be a fun app, but now it crashes every time I try to add a photo. I am fully up to date on IOS. IPhone 14 pro max
