Subscription terms:
• Payments with be charged to your iTunes Account at confirmation of purchase.
• Subscription automatically renews unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24-hours before the end of the current period.
• Account will be charged for renewal within 24-hours before the current period and identify the cost of the renewal.
• Subscriptions may be managed by the user and auto-renewal may be turned off by going to the user's Account Settings after purchase.
• Any unused portion of a free trial period, if offered, will be forfeited when the user purchases a subscription to that publication, where applicable

Only just downloaded and starting to set up. The software keeps shutting down without warning. Not sure why - not sure if this is going to be an ongoing issue. The app itself appears to be good, easy to set up and use (when not shutting down) - so reserving judgement for now. 2 stars at the moment due to the continual restarts ...

This is so easy to use and very powerful.
I now enter my costs with Receipt sense, so easy. Scans the invoice or receipt and enters the amount date and description for me, I just enter my catagory and its done.
Drilling down is so easy to find specific entries is a breeze.
Gives me my profit and Costs as the year progresses. Highly reccommend .

I have had Microbooks for a while and love it. I have been looking at Receipt sense for a while and thought I would give it a go. 
Now I wonder why I waited as it is superb! ReceiptSense scans my receipts and makes data entry even easier, even scans till receipts and enters the totals and date purchased. Then you end up with a copy to look back on

I wanted a way of recording expenses for multiple companies without being on an online full accounting system.

Microbooks is customisable but very simple to enter data.

It sounds like a great idea. I tried it out, but you cannot edit the categories so it is limiting in that way. You also can't do a profit and loss sheet, which you would need for an accountant. So you would have to calculate and do the spread sheet for this yourself. Shame as these would be very basic additions, and for me with a simple business, it would have been priceless.

Great apps for small businesses-Great customer service - David Todd always do  response to any question you may have very quickly. As I use on my 2 separate device (with 2 different iCloud account) I found a couple of small issue which I reported to the app  developer and he said he’s going to release another update very soon, and I can’t wait for next update, 

but it is not a big deal, very minor couple of suggestion like re-confirmation before deleting by swiping left, and better iCloud synchronisation between devices etc. 

that’s all and which I have already mentioned and he said it will be fix soon. 

This is one of the best app in the market-specially the developers are not greedy,  it is not ongoing subscription -you pay once and it’s all yours for life (unless you need receipt auto scanner)  -lifetime license is the beauty of this beautiful and powerful app, and this is not complicated to use at all. 

Thank you Developers for great apps and do not make complicated, please do not add any unnecessary function, please keep it as simple as it is now for forever - yes I would definitely recommend it for all small businesses.

### ****- "Could be a great app with a bit of tweaking"
Good potential. Love simplicity. Unfortunately, dated in its approach. I.e no facility to import PDF receipts, payment advices etc.  Payment from one account only so no way of identifying if you paid cash, bank transfer, credit card for purchases. No facility either to make or relabel categories so its bespoke for your business. No way of entering disposal of assets separate to sales or entering credits on returned purchases either.  If these fundamentals addressed it could be the go to app for small business and self employed  who don’t want to be held to ransom by the monthly subscription model of the big players for  functionality they will never use. Support for this app seems good , plus makers seem to be actively encouraging feedback - always a good start.

I’ve been looking for a long time for an app that isn’t subscription based and has simple, but intuitive features. Finally, this is it! I love how easy it is to record transactions, filter them to see specific income sources and export it all out to CSV for tax returns etc. They say it’s meant for businesses that don’t need to do VAT returns – I am VAT registered and this app still fits my workflow for recording VAT. A big thumbs up and highly recommended for any small business.
