I like edge, but I dislike, very much, the AI, so they call it, getting in the way of everything.

Very good if used with a Windows PC

Microsoft is notorious for wanting you to use Microsoft Edge, to the point where any web search in Windows Search opens up in Edge with Bing as the engine. Since this is a Chromium based browser and it works well with Windows, I see no reason to not use it if you are a Chrome user. The syncing between mobile and PC is excellent as it should be and the desktop version is great. The main reason you should use Edge on an iPhone is because you already use it on your desktop.

The first update in I-don’t-remember-how-many months that isn’t just “bug fixes and improvements.

Microsoft Edge for iOS – a "cutting-edge" mobile browser, offering good performance and handy features like Collections and device synchronisation. It does well in speed and privacy (I think). However, some quirks leave users "on the edge" of frustration, like the missing reader mode and those questionable “news” sources. While it doesn’t "edge out" all competition, it’s still a reasonable alternative to Chrome. — Most notable 👍🏽👈🏻 in the 130.0.2849.80 update however is that the release notes finally don’t go for the usual, lazy blah of what so many others are saying in the release notes: bug fixes and improvements. Somewhere product managers must think that no one is reading them. Read the release notes of Signal for instance for how to write them.
