This last month Ive been having real issues with excel. I use it as a ‘to do’ list i.e., doctor appt. at 9; bin day, take meds at 11. It then seems to replace ‘take meds at 11’ with an extra ‘bin day’. So frustrating and a bit worrying as I have medical issues and need constant reminding. I pay my monthly subscription

As per the title. I don’t know what’s changing at microsoft but the usability of this app decreases year on year. I will fully transition to Google docs as my clients do and leave this junk until it improves. I currently have to delete the app and reinstall it to open each file.

This fill handle at the bottom of each cell is destroying my spreadsheets by filling inappropriately and overwriting data without even confirming the overwrite. It has repeatedly caused subtle errors where a sheet that had been working properly before but was now suddenly giving gobbledygook and even errors that were only caught by chance. For goodness sake at least make this rubbish optional as it is on desktop.

I have used this free Excel app for a number of years for simple household things like list and financial tracking, has been fine, but somewhere along the way I acquired a Microsoft 365 subscription for a year, then decided I didn’t need that anymore as I had the free app.  Since cancelling every time I use the free app is says I must subscribe to continue, I have ignored this and the app is still working.  What I have read is that if you want the full app with more functions you need 365, but I don’t!  The cost of 365 is £49.99 a year of £5.99 a month I won’t pay it.
