Microsoft OneDrive Reviews

Difficultly uploading to shared folders

MRW2020 on

United States

Issues uploading to shared folder. Add button is missing half the time on the mobile app. Searched resolutions and said try using desktop.

Does not support 0 length files on iPadOS or iOS

HlCunningham on

United States

Some apps such as SubText and Collabora Office allow you to create a new file on the file system. This fails on OneDrive (per MSFT, use case not supported). Workaround is to create file on another file system such as local file, iCloud, GDrive or a local NAS file server. Then after adding some data to file and closing it, the file can be move to OneDrive for future editing.

App won’t open

SCC 5716 on

United States

Keeps crashing when trying to open.

Music Time

Music and Movement on

United States

I love that I can load a Music Time play list and use it with preschoolers from my phone. No screen time for them!

Wasted enormous potential

ios 5 was the best on

United States

This app has the enormous potential to be a cross platform Media management, but appearently Microsoft does all it can to shoot themselves in the foot. Absolute useless support, feature discrepancies between iOS and Android apps, updated UI taking away features from previous UI and so on. What a pity, I really had high hopes on having a true sync alternative to iCloud and Google that works both iOS and Android.

RAW image viewing

LDBugBecca on

United States

Please please please update to allow RAW image viewing in mobile app! I’m no app software developer but I can view raw images directly on my phone and across other storage apps, Google Drive, Dropbox, Amazon photos - why would you not add this capability for the many photographers who use your app?!

A nice cloud app

Drgooglehead on

United States

Uploads and downloads could be better for larger files but otherwise it works well

Poor MS live accounts

Just Wills Reviews on

United States

I’ve never liked the Microsoft ecosystem because logging in is impossible. I am one person but every organization I work at gives me a different live account. I don’t want to lose my stuff if I quit. And these organizations will use MY personal email to create an account. So my email has two accounts (which have seperate login sites). Might be time for a complete revamp of the live account management that better manages work and personal. Don’t have two doors for two types of accounts. One door that directs me based on the account type I enter.

Trash

This app is trash, the simplest things it can’t do without frustration
