I hate school

I don’t like school

The app on IPhone doesn’t look or perform anything like shown

Very limited functionality. You can’t even change colour or pen thickness. It doesn’t distinguish between two finger scrolling and writing so constantly leaves marked and dots just moving around which is necessary since screen is small. Can’t believe it remains so bad.

Good but could be better

Just started using this app to help transfer information between my iPad and computer but in comparison to the user experience to other apps like Freeform, this is a much more clunky experience. Things I would like to see in this app - different pen selections, not just a pen and highlighter - hovering ruler would be great - a quicker and reliable pasting experience. I have to hold down for the paste button to come up, compared to other apps which is a tap. - the overall look is very clinical especially when it comes to the task tick boxes. Things I like about it - it’s not confirmed to a page size - you can make new notebooks, sections, and pages. - easy to highlight and make text bold - you can add text wherever on the page, it’s very organic that way unlike apps like word.

Apple Pencil gesture support is lacking

I’ve been using OneNote across multiple platforms for years. The iPad version is the best tablet version, but it lacks extended support for the Pro Pencil which is disappointing. I went with the iPad because it’s the best mobile platform for OneNote as it’s that important to me. Just a bit disappointed that the Pro Pencil doesn’t have extra functionality like OneNote’s competitors do. Hope that changes soon.

Always starts on pen. 😡

I’d give it no stars but that’s not possible. At least it’s “free” with my Microsoft subscription. Let’s hope Microsoft never gets involved in driverless technologies.
