Whiteboards changed my life

I woke up, lonely and alone in my bed. I was bored and lonely and alone again, I was going lonely more but I then I saw on the App Store MicrosoftWhiteboards. It’s so convenient and helps in my every day life since I am so extremely terrible at organising stuff, so thank you Steve jobs for inventing this absolutely revolutionary utility known as the brilliantly title Microsoft whiteboard.

I use it for study. I paste screen shots from videos and websites and annotate them with explanations. Just a versatile canvas basically. What I would improve is the text formatting. Be nice to edit individual words with a box and to have different fonts. The font issue is well known. If desperate you can type in another font elsewhere and screenshot. It’s free though, so I’m really impressed.

Needs a big feature update and Apple Pencil improvements to compete with Apple's Freeflow. Theirs feels more streamlined. Then I would use Whiteboard more sharing my work to my Windows 11 desktop.

The app is great for creative minds

Great for teaching! However, a few of my students are unable to see the whiteboard when it loads from the teams app. Additionally, the laser is only present on the whiteboard app that loads from the teams app and not in the default whiteboard app. Please could sharing be more easier. It’s difficult to share as there always appears to be restrictions when the whiteboard is shared with people outside of the organisation.

Amazing app, use it for tutoring all the time, only negative is that you could upload pdf before, but that functionality has been taken away which is a shame
