Designed for touch, type & pen, it lets you write or draw as smoothly as you would with ink, you can even type in text, add sticky notes or notes grid to express your ideas & use reactions to visually communicate your thoughts. It’s so convenient and helps in my every day life since I am so extremely terrible at organising stuff, so thank you Steve jobs for inventing this absolutely revolutionary utility known as the brilliantly title Microsoft whiteboard.

I use it for study. I paste screen shots from videos and websites and annotate them with explanations. Just a versatile canvas basically. What I would improve is the text formatting. Be nice to edit individual words with a box and to have different fonts. The font issue is well known. If desperate you can type in another font elsewhere and screenshot. It’s free though, so I’m really impressed.

Great for teaching! However, a few of my students are unable to see the whiteboard when it loads from the teams app. Additionally, the laser is only present on the whiteboard app that loads from the teams app and not in the default whiteboard app.

Please could sharing be more easier. It’s difficult to share as there always appears to be restrictions when the whiteboard is shared with people outside of the organisation.

This app is insanely glitchy. I have been using it for about a week now (with an Apple pencil connected) and today the app has been refusing to write, and when I do write it somehow refreshes the board. I can’t use it anymore, and my school notes are all in here. Untrustworthy app, don’t use unless you can deal with intense frustration. Microsoft, fix your bugs :(

I’m an A level student at the moment and am literally tired of making my bag so heavy that my back feels like it’s breaking into two. I thought let’s go to digital stuff and save your back, but not leave anything behind that’s essential.

I’ve downloaded app after app, to the point where it said ‘storage full’ until I found this. My handwriting is actually legible, easy to use and get used to. I love how you can change the colours of the whiteboard so easily!! This is personally helpful as in the dark white light murders my eyes, so having a black screen is totally helpful. 

I cannot tell you how much this app has helped me. Thanks so much !! <3
